Happy New Year!

by Max Lake - December 31, 2000, 12:59 pm EST

A look back & a look ahead....

I’m getting ready to get my friends, alcohol, N64 and four-player games together to go party my brains out tonight until the clock chimes in the New Year. However, before I go do all of that I’d like to wish everyone a Very Happy New Year! For some of our readers, like those in Japan or down under (such as our Aussie correspondent, Kosta) the New Year has already come and gone. To them, I hope they don’t have hangovers that lead to driving the porcelain bus.

As the holidays wind down, game developers will be coming back from vacation and we’ll be doubling our efforts to bring you the good word directly from their mouths. Also, the “new” Planet is progressing smoothly and hopefully should be ready sometime early in the New Year. It’s already looking fantastic and I can’t wait to share it with you all. It won’t be too long! In the meantime, we’ll continue to bring you daily doses of Nintendo love.

Speaking of Nintendo, you simply can’t forget that 2001 will be the year that Game Boy Advance and GameCube will be unleashed on the world. New year, new Planet, new Nintendo! 2001 is going to be really great.

Any great New Year plans or resolutions you’d like to share with us? Hit the talkback! Otherwise, be safe have fun and we’ll see you next year!!!
