Funding has started for a new, post-apocalyptic 2D brawler.
Looney Bin Studios has revealed Six Miles Under, an atmospheric 2D brawler looking for funding on Kickstarter.
The game, a 2D brawler, deals with a man named Preston Trencher. He is an enforcer who works for a group that deals with the streets of the city he resides in, one of the last places that man inhabits following a nuclear apocalypse. False friends and allies, however, ends up with him having a bounty set out on him, thus looking for revenge.
Gameplay is similar to that of recent indie brawlers such as Shank in which Preston battles a number of enemies. He'll be able to take enemies weapons and use it for his own gain. The game also promises intruging boss battles that tests "everything that has been learned from fighting for Preston's body and soul".
If funded, the game is due for release in May for Wii U, PC, Mac and Linux. Check the source link provided for more information.
