From tournaments to cosplay, this tour has it all.

Nintendo will be heading to Mexico for the first time with the Nintendo Tour in three different venues. An exclusive tour of events is underway, featuring cosplay contests, a Nintendo time tunnel, tournaments, new Wii and DS games to sample, and lots of Nintendo products available for purchase.

Anyone interested in attending is urged to pre-register as each venue features a quota of 3,000 people. There are two ways to pre-register. First, you can bring a receipt from a previously purchased Nintendo product, from September 2008 and onward, to a center of exchange in Monterrey, Gudalajara or Mexico DF and exchange that for an entrance ticket. Second, the day of the event you can purchase a ticket from the box office, keeping in mind that if the quota has been filled you will not be able to gain entrance.

Pre-ordering a ticket also comes with incentives such as a free official t-shirt, entrance to the "express row" on the day of the event, and an early chance to sign up in the event's tournaments.

There will be three tournaments at each venue, a Mario Kart Wii tournament, a Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament, and a Guitar Hero III tournament. Each tournament only allows for a total of 256 participants. If you pre-register at the centers of exchange you can sign up for a tournament then, or if quotas have not been met additional participants can join on the day of the event. There will also be "high score" tournaments in Mario Kart Wii and Super Smash Bros. Brawl that will not have a quota.

Amongst the demonstrations, presentations, game sampling, and merchandise for sale, there will also be a cosplay contest. Attendees are encouraged to dress as their favorite Nintendo character as each Nintendo Tour will give away prizes to costumed attendees.

The three venues are Monterrey, Saturday the first of November from 10am to 10pm; Guadalajara, Saturday November 8 from 10 am to 10 pm; and Mexico DF, Saturday November 15 from 10 am to 10pm.
