VIDEO GAMES LIVE TO PERFORM FIRST VIDEO GAME CONCERT IN MEXICO THIS WEEKEND!

7,000+ Seat Bullring Set as Location of Historic Event

Concert to Coincide with GamaCon '08 Convention

LOS ANGELES, CA – In its continuing efforts to show the world how artistic and culturally significant video games have become, Video Games Live will be performing its ground-breaking 2008 World Tour this weekend at the 7000+ seat Plaza de Toros Calafia Bullring in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico with the prestigious Ensamble de Jóvenes Orchestra and Choir. The event will take place this Saturday, March 15th at 7:30PM as the grand finale of the newly created GamaCon '08 video game, anime, cosplay and comic book convention (March 14 – 15).

"We're so proud and honored to be performing our show to so many people in Mexico," said Video Games Live co-creator & conductor Jack Wall. "It's really great to see this kind of excitement around the world for what we're doing." Event promoter Hugo Castro added "So many people in Mexico have been looking forward to Video Games Live, the enthusiasm for this event has been like nothing we've ever seen before."

Mexicali is the capital of the State of Baja California. Situated along the state's northern border with the U.S. state of California, Mexicali is the northernmost city in Latin America.

Good to know that Games Live is heading south of the border. Anyone going to mexico specifically for this show?

Well they did go to Brazil many times before, so going to Mexico should be a breeze for them.
