Wii-Sponsored Car Takes Second Place

It looks like the only place Wii takes second is on a NASCAR track.

As NASCAR fans already know, Greg Biffle and his No. 16 Wii-sponsored Ford Fusion raced to a solid second-place finish Sunday at Dover International Speedway in Dover, Delaware.

Finishing just behind Carl Edwards, the win moved Biffle up to fifteenth place in the overall Nextel Cup standings. More importantly, he made Wii owners and Nintendo fans proud.

If you want to see the Wii car racing around the track for yourself, Biffle's next race is the LifeLock 400 at Kansas Speedway on September 30th (1pm, ABC). You know who Nintendo World Report will be cheering for!

The mountain dew Halo 3 "game fuel" car must have come in first. Since, only with game fuel could they have....

(just saw the first commercial for that. ugh....)

Actually I heard that the Halo 3 car didn't finish the race cause it blew its engine and overheated.

No. I'm not joiking.

Still Wii is the only system without a NASCAR game.

Ah, it couldn't finish the lap.

As for Wii being without a NASCAR game, I think that's not much of a thing to be missed. Now if only EA lets Sega's AM2 have a go so we can have a new Daytona USA.
