While this might be a little subjective, Chrono Trigger is quite possibly the best RPG ever made. It would make perfect sense, then, that the DS port of the greatest RPG ever made would win the award for Best DS RPG. With an enthralling story, interesting characters, a great combat system, and over ten different endings, Chrono Trigger offers everything a good RPG should have and more. While the content added to the DS port isn't ground-breaking, it doesn't take away from the fact that Chrono Trigger DS was the best RPG released on DS during 2008.
