Nintendo of Europe will be hosting a Nintendo Direct in tandem with Nintendo's NYC Wii U launch info event on Thursday.
A Nintendo Direct for Europe covering Wii U launch information is set to be streamed live on Thursday, September 13 at 3 p.m. (UK). Club Nintendo is currently holding a sale on Kirby Patch Sets in honor of Kirby’s 20th anniversary. Both the Kirby & Prince Fluff, as well as the Saucer & Off-Roader sets are now 175 coins each, 50% off, until Sept. 15, 2012.
The Limited Edition Kirby Medal, which was made available last week, is currently out of stock. Since it was a limited run, it is unlikely to return.

The EB Games Expo is on again and is coming up soon.
The EB Games Expo which started last year in Australia is back in full force. This year the expo is to be held over three days, starting from October 5, 2012.
The expo is to be held at the Sydney Olympic Park with over 25,000 square metres of the latest gaming goodness. Nintendo will be there in full force, however it is not currently known what exactly they will be showing outside of Pokémon Black and White 2.

It's like the sequel to Balloon Kid we never got.
Balloon Trip Breeze is one of the newly revealed Nintendo Land attractions, and Game Informer has a trailer showing it off for the very first time.
We previously reported most of what Game Informer confirmed in the trailer today from early reports from the magazine's October issue, but the new trailer shows off the game in action for the first time. The graphical style appears to of a patchwork-looking nature similar to Kirby's Epic Yarn.

The fifth and final demo for Bravely Default: Flying Fairy will be released on the Nintendo 3DS eShop in Japan this week on September 12.

It's not as cool as Scizor, but it's still pretty cool.
Genesect, the steel/bug Pokémon will be distributed via a Wi-Fi event to all Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 players starting October 7, Nintendo of America announced.
Players will be able to download the previously unavailable Pokémon until November 12. Genesect will come with the moves Techno Blast, Magnet Bomb, Solar Beam and Signal Beam but will not come with any hold items. Japan had the same offer earlier this year.

With the Mark of Mastery edition included, the latest game in the Disney themed series has sold 200,000 units.
Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance has managed to sell 200,000 units in North America.
While the official numbers by Nintendo put the game at 180,000 units by itself, once the Mark of Mastery edition units are included into the final tally, the game places itself at the 200,000 unit mark.

Thanks to New Super Mario Bros. 2 and Dragon Quest X, the two companies have seen great profits.
Nintendo and Square Enix lead Enterbrain's software revenue list for the month of August.
Nintendo lead the list with a 28.5% of all software revenues, mainly in part to the release of New Super Mario Bros. 2 for the Nintendo 3DS in July. Following Nintendo is Square Enix, who enjoyed a 26% share of software revenue thanks to the release of Dragon Quest X.

Capcom's Lost Planet spin-off will be Japan exclusive.
Capcom has no plans to bring over the Lost Planet spin-off title, EX Troopers, to western shore, Senior Vice President Christian Svensson recently confirmed. La-Mulana's website has announced the game's WiiWare release. While Nintendo's site previously confirmed the North American release day of September 20, the game's official site confirms that the European release will occur on the same day. The game's publisher will be EnjoyUp games.

The 1984 beat-em-up's remake will be available to Wii U owners.
A remake of Jordan Mechner's Karateka will be heading to the Wii U, according to the game's ESRB page.
It was previously known that a remake of the game was going to be released, but we did not know it was coming to Wii U. The game is being developed by Jordan Mechner, the creator of Prince of Persia and the developer of the original Karateka.

Fractured Soul will be 2982 blocks in size when it hits the Nintendo eShop in North America, Nintendo Okie reports.
The game by developer Endgame will release next week and will set you back $11.99. In comparison, New Super Mario Bros. 2 will cost you 2725 of your precious blocks, while Order Up! stands in third place with 2485 blocks.

A secret ending attached to the iOS version of TWEWY teased a new game.
The iOS version of The World Ends With You included a secret ending that could possibly be interpreted as a teaser for a sequel to the Nintendo DS game.
The image, which you can view in this article, shows a new characters with the words "New 7 Days." Hopefully this is meant to infer a new game will be coming. If there is a sequel on the way, we do not know what platform it would be released on.
