The original Game Boy game will be released on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan next year.
Square Enix recently announced that a remake of Dragon Quest Monsters for the Game Boy will be released on the Nintendo 3DS next year.
Dragon Quest Monsters Terry's Wonderland 3D, like the other "Monsters" games, puts a heavy amount of focus on raising monsters and making parties. The remake of the game will also include monsters from the recent Dragon Quest Monsters games, as well as new stories.

Live a fabulous and stylish girl's life.
Koei Tecmo has announced a new game at the Tokyo Game Show called Fab Style. It is set to be released for both the Nintendo DS and 3DS.
The gameplay is identical in the two versions, but the 3DS version contains more movies and character songs by the voice actors. A premium box edition with a special guide book and a soundtrack CD is also on the way.

New flash cartridge is able to run 3DS software.
The first flash cartridge capable of running 3DS software has been announced. The Crown3DS is tested to work under current 3DS firmware 2.1.0-4, and the developers are in the process of testing it with more games. There is currently no time-frame for its release, with the developers' web site only saying that more info will be released "sooner or later."

It's an all-new Mewtwo for an all new generation.
Mewtwo will be available for download via Wi-Fi download in Japan for all Pokémon Black and White trainers from September 26 through October 31.
Mewtwo's release will coincide with the TV Tokyo series "Pokémon Smash!" Not much information is available about the new version of Mewtwo except that it will have the "Pressure" ability.

Zelda isn't the only Japanese franchise turning 25 this year.
Dragon Quest 25th Anniversary is available for 4,440 yen starting today in Japan. This anniversary edition contains five games including the Famicom versions of Dragon Quest I, Dragon Quest II, Dragon Quest III, the Super Famicom compliation Dragon Quest I + II and the Super Famicom remake of Dragon Quest III.

Mega Man fires up the eShop, and the Blue Man Group keep on groovin'.
Five new pieces of software have been added to Nintendo's various downloadable game services this week.
Exclusively for the 3DS's Virtual Console is Capcom's Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge for the Game Boy. Originally released in 1991, the game borrows heavily from its console counterparts, complete with various robot masters to choose from.

A cameo from Nomura's other RPG was spotted at Tokyo Game Show.
A character from The World Ends With You was spotted by SiliconEra in the Tokyo Game Show demo of Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance.
The character was Neku, the main character of The World Ends With You. This marks the first time a character from a non-Final Fantasy or Disney game makes an appearance in a Kingdom Hearts title.

Despite what analysts and investors say, Nintendo stands firm with the 3DS.
Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata said that there will be no further 3DS price drops, nor will Nintendo support mobile gaming during an interview with Nikkei.

According to the official Legend of Zelda Facebook page, Skyward
Sword will be packed with more than one hundred minutes of cinematic cutscenes.
The game will also implement some elements that were introduced to the Zelda

Monster Hunter fans in the west may have to wait awhile to get their fix on 3DS.
It has been confirmed by Capcom that the upgraded port of Monster Hunter Tri for the Nintendo 3DS, titled Monster Hunter 3G, is not currently planned for release outside of Japan where it is currently scheduled for a release later this year.

The creators of Golden Sun return to work on Mario's latest tennis game.
Camelot, best known for their work on the Golden Sun series, is developing Mario Tennis for the 3DS, which was unveiled at last night's Nintendo 3DS Press Conference.
Camelot developed both Mario Golf and Mario Tennis for the Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Advance, and GameCube. They also worked on the New Play Control version of Mario Power Tennis and We Love Golf for Wii.

Pikachu returns to this Pokémon-inspired mini-game collection.
A follow-up to last year's PokéPark Wii has been announced.
The most recent issue of Japan's Coro Coro Comics magazine revealed some details regarding the game. It was also briefly mentioned at last night's Nintendo 3DS Press Conference event. The full title behind it will be PokéPark 2: Beyond the World. The game will feature Pokémon from the Black and White generation, and it will feature four player attractions.

The 3DS turns all rosy-cheeked in Japan this fall.
Nintendo will release a new hardware color variation, Misty Pink, on October 20 for 15,000 yen. Once released, that will bring the number of color variations released in Japan to four – Aqua Blue, Cosmo Black, Flare Red, and the new Misty Pink.

Skyward Sword's limited edition is being released down under.
Despite the apparent neglect Australia has received regarding the 25th Anniversary Zelda Symphony Orchestra tour, the soundtrack will indeed be available here in not one but two special editions of the game.
According to Nintendo, the "Special Limited Edition Bundle" will include the soundtrack CD and Hylian Crest Golden Wii Remote Plus, identical to the pack releasing overseas.

Nintendo 3DS owners in Japan can watch various video clips from the 3DS Conference. The videos are divided up onto several pages on the eShop. After scrolling to the right of the Nintendo Ambassador Certificate page, users can view a 2D compilation trailer of all of the announced titles that were made at the conference. The run time is a little over two minutes long.
