Best graphics Award - Game Boy Advance:
Golden Sun
The amazing richness of color and special effects outshine every other title on the handheld. – Rick Powers
Get past the sequence at the beginning and the game just keeps sucking you further in. The battle scenes alone really make the GBA look incredible, can’t wait for Camelot to begin kicking out titles on the GameCube and I pray Nintendo locks them in as a dedicated 2nd party for the foreseeable future. – Justin Nation
It reminds me of a classic 16-bit RPG only with better spell effects. – Mike Sklens
Without a doubt, Golden Sun takes the GBA's display to the max. It's also a must-have for RPG fans. – Mike Hrusecky
From the first screens until release, Golden Sun has wowed all. Smooth and colorful with pseudo-3D battles, I'm not sure if anything else matches it yet. I haven't played the game, but I really should ;-) – Michael Cole
Really, no one expected something so pretty to be on the AGB so early. The clever use of scaling, Mode 7, --and above all-- the spectacular particle effects will forever remain a testament to the flexibility and great power lurking beneath the AGB hood. – Zosha Arushan
Runner Up: Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2
