Why, Nintendophiles aren't the only ones to come outta E3 and say "X-What?" Go figure!

This morning on good ol’ FGNOnline had a report from MVC regarding Konami’s European President. The article communicates very plainly that Nintendophiles (like PGC staff) weren’t the only E3 attendees who were a little unimpressed at Microsoft’s X-Box. On the other hand, even staunch Nintendo critics had reason to take notice of the GameCube.

Here’s the article:

"It seems to us that Microsoft was not fully prepared for E3," offers Konami's Euro boss, Kunio Neo.

Speaking to trade mag MCV shortly after E3, Neo expanded, "We are not tied to any hardware, but from an independent point of view it seems to us that Microsoft was not fully prepared for this show. The titles that they had on show were nothing particularly new or special. There were no killer titles. It makes you wonder if they can fight the existing giants."

Neo was however impressed by Nintendo

show. "On the other hand, everyone has been impressed with Nintendo. It has been perhaps their greatest ever show. Previously Nintendo has made announcements and then disappointed, but at E3 people saw the Cube, saw playable demos and were immediately convinced."
