No Play at Spaceworld

Bummer! Nintendo has just let it be known that Dolphin will not be playable at Spaceworld. What a gyp! Maybe we shouldn't be surprised...

According to NOA, there will be NO Dolphin titles playable at Spaceworld this year. GBA yes, and Dolphin will be revealed (video is still possible), but Dolphin will not be playable at Spaceworld this year. Personally I'm guessing Mario isn't finished.

PlanetN2000 will still be attending Spaceworld regardless. Remember, Nintendo is an Open Door company! (cough...gag) I am planning personally finding some closed doors and breaking in Ninja style. Hey who brought you the most Dolphin info from E3? Heheh. Our official comment about this situation, "This blows more than a $5000 hooker". Then again, I am not at all surprised. Pissed...yeah. But not surprised.

Sorry Nintendo junkies, but it looks like there will be no playable Dolphin software previewed at the upcoming Space World show, which kicks off August 25 in Japan. Nintendo of America confirmed to IGN64 [ed note: And PlanetN2000] today that its next-generation console will be on display at the event "in some form," but it won't be available for a test run by interested gamers and press alike.

So what will be on hand? Nintendo of America doesn't yet know, but we expect all of the following:

-Dolphin hardware unveiled

-Name and system specifications announced in detail

-A price point set and release date set

-Game footage and one or two technical demos

Not exactly the Dolphin blowout we have all been hoping for, but more insight into Nintendo's mystery console nonetheless. This latest confirmation shouldn't come as much of a surprise to readers, as Nintendo has very plainly been hinting that event would belong primarily to Game Boy and Game Boy Advance, which in fact will be playable.
