Last July we remembered some great things from that past, and looked ahead to the future.
Staff Thoughts
Justin Baker, Reviews Editor -
Earthbound dominated my time in July. It was the first time I was really able to get into the game, and it really sucked me in. After I played it for a while a close friend of mine even gave me a physical copy of the guide. It's always nice to get to experience a piece of Nintendo history!
Nicholas Bray, Australian Correspondent -
July offered some cool bits and pieces for the Nintendo community to mull over. Earthbound made a surprise release and took over the conversation for a number of weeks. I have still yet to download it, but at least I have the option!
Feature wise, the NES Memories feature was a fun read and project for the site, and the History of AlphaDream was another informative piece.
Sadly, this month also had the loss of the site's favorite cat, Louie.
Justin Berube, Features Editor -
The biggest news coming out of this month for me was the announcement of the StreetPass Relay system. I live in an area that causes me not to get many StreetPass hits, so the ability to get several at Nintendo Zone locations was something I was excited about.
Ever since the update went live I have been getting many more StreetPasses and have been finally able to make my way deep into the new SteetPass games.
