Monster battling is back, now featuring devices that can actually fit in your pocket.
Pokémon Tretta has been revealed to be an arcade machine, following a trademark from last month with little information given at the time outside of a logo, as reported by Serebii.
The machine uses various discs with pictures of Pokémon on them in order to battle, find wild Pokémon, and capture Pokémon (using a roulette). Players can also save a record of battles on a device known as Tretta Report.

Mario will grace yet another country with his 3DS presence.
The Nintendo 3DS launches in South Korea on April 28, and will be accompanied by Super Mario 3D Land, Tekken 3D Prime Edition, and Nicola Magazine Model Stylish Audition 2.
The 3DS will retail for 220,000 won ($193) and is featured in three different colors: cosmo black, misty pink, and cobalt blue. These three different colors will be joined by only the three aforementioned retail release games.

The next Game Boy Color title to hit the service in Japan has been unveiled.
Megami Tensei Gaiden: Last Bible, also known as Revelations: The Demon Slayer in North America, is releasing on the Japanese 3DS eShop on April 25.
The game was originally released on the Game Boy Color in 1999, and is now getting a re-release so all Japanese 3DS owners can enjoy it. In the game, you are able to talk to and fuse monsters in a medieval setting.

The eShop game could soon see release outside the U.S.
A recent Australian OFLC classification suggests that Mutant Mudds might soon be releasing in Australia.
Mutant Mudds released in North America during January and was met with positive reviews. Despite its success in America, the game has yet to see release in other territories. Developer Renegade Kid has already said it has plans to bring the game elsewhere, and now there is some sign that it's actually happening.

Those fighting felines are making their way to handhelds everywhere.
A video game adaptation of the ThunderCats cartoon is on its way to Nintendo DS this August.
ThunderCats for Nintendo DS will be a straight-forward side-scrolling affair, with players taking control of Lion-O. The game will have some basic platforming challenges, and hack-and-slash style gameplay against the lizard army that the ThunderCats oppose.

According to the publisher, both games will be out by the end of the summer.
The European release windows for NightSky and VVVVVV were revealed by publisher Nicalis in a recent interview with Spanish gaming website Blogocio.
Nicalis stated that VVVVVV will release in Europe within the first two weeks of
May. NightSky was given a less specific window of between the months of
June and July.

Skylanders Giants is 100% coming to 3DS, according to Toys For Bob's Alex Ness in an interview with ONM. Activision also confirmed that Vicarious Visions, the developers of the first game on 3DS, is returning to make the sequel.

The hit WiiWare game is coming to 3DS soon.
Zombie Panic in Wonderland will be coming to the 3DS's eShop, Spanish developer Akaoni recently announced.
The game made its debut as a WiiWare shooting title in which players control female fairy tale characters, such as Alice and Dorothy, battling various supernatural creatures, including zombies.

Nintendo Australia has once again updated the Club Nintendo reward catalogue.
This time, the new items include a golden nunchuk for the Wii, Mario and Luigi Nintendo 3DS pouches, styled like their respective hats, and ten random AR cards for Kid Icarus: Uprising.
The nunchuk is priced at 3000 stars, the Mario pouches are 1300 and the AR cards are set at 200.

The MDK2 developer clarifies their stance on future Nintendo projects with a resounding "No".
Beamdog, developer of the WiiWare port of MDK2, will not be developing any future projects for Nintendo platforms. The news comes via Beamdog Business Developer Director Trent Oster who announced on Twitter: "We don't do Nintendo development. Our previous experience with Nintendo was enough to ensure there will not be another."
