Mighty Switch Force will be adding five free levels, according to Nintendo Power.
The content will be delivered in a game update that will also enhance the game's 3D effect and add a quick-retry button. The game, WayForward's first for the eShop, came out in December 2011 and snuck into our Favorite 10 Games of 2011 list.

Your next round of monster battling may occur sooner than you think.
Pokémon Black and White 2 may be coming out on Tuesday October 2, according to a photo of a GameStop release schedule (and recently confirmed via phone call).
Although GameStop dates are known to be fairly close to the genuine date in many cases and Black and White 2 is expected to come out during the fall, the date is still unconfirmed. In addition, Nintendo usually releases Pokémon or other major titles on Sundays.

Announcements are promised for E3, and the game is slated to appear on "all major home consoles" in early 2013.
Star Trek, the Digital Extremes-developed game that takes place after the 2009 film, might be coming to Wii U when it launches in 2013.
"We are exploring right now all of our options to get on the platforms that make sense. It's early. Good thing we have a lot of time to figure that out, and over the next few months we'll be able to announce a few more things." said Brian Miller, senior vice president and producer at Paramount Pictures.

Alter AR battles with these new cards.
A new type of Kid Icarus: Uprising AR card is being distributed in Japan.
Those able to grab the newest issue of the Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream can receive a new kind of AR card, known as a Stage Card. Stage Cards can be used in conjunction with other AR cards to alter the battlefield of AR battles.

Enjoy Gaming's second eShop title lets you make your own block-dropping puzzle game.
Block Factory will be the next eShop title released in Europe and North America, according to publisher Enjoy Gaming.
The game appeared in the eShop last week under the "Coming Soon," and appeared on a press release from Nintendo of Europe about this week's downloads. We confirmed with Enjoy Gaming that Block Factory is also coming to North America this week as well.

We should have been playing the demo for the July release last week.
North America was supposed to get a demo for Sega's Rhythm Thief on the 3DS eShop on April 19, according to a March 2012 press release (shown below). It didn't show up in the virtual store on that day.
We've followed up with Nintendo and Sega about the issue, and will report back as soon as we get an update.

The Castle of Illusion roots go deeper than you think.
Details regarding Disney Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion were revealed by Junction Point Studios Creative Director Warren Spector at the European Nintendo Direct.
During the presentation, Spector noted that the gameplay focuses not just on platforming, but also paint and thinner mechanics. He also described the gameplay as a fusion between Castle of Illusion and the original Epic Mickey game, despite looking more like the former.

Japanese 3DS owners can now play video soccer worldwide.
An online mode was announced for the upcoming soccer simulator Calcio Bit during the recent Nintendo Direct event by Nintendo President Satoru Iwata.
Calcio Bit comes out in Japan on July 12. There is currently no word on an international release.

Nintendo 3DS owners across USA and PAL regions should be getting a SpotPass notice any time now to confirm the addition of a new panel in StreetPass Mii Plaza's Puzzle Swap.

New ways to obtain idols will be following soon!
The Panini Group will handle the distribution of Kid Icarus: Uprising AR Cards for all across Europe. This information comes from the recentely aired Nintendo Direct.
Not many details were given, but Nintendo of Europe president Satoru Shibata has ensured viewers that the cards will be available soon. Panini and Nintendo will also release a special album, in which the idol cards can be held safely.

You will be able to switch between the English and Japanese songs when the game is released in July.
The European version of Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise (Rhythm Heaven Fever) will include the Japanese soundtrack along with the ability to switch between the English and Japanese songs for gameplay.

Looks like we won't be getting bored of this game.
Heroes of Ruin will feature daily DLC for an entire year, Nintendo announced at their European Nintendo Direct presentation.
Heroes of Ruin is due out in Europe on July 15, and for a whole year players will have new downloadable content to enjoy. The downloadable content will be completely free. Nintendo also reconfirmed the games full online voice chat capabilities.
