Dozens of powers showcased.
New videos from Nintendo's Japanese website showcase many of Kirby's abilities and powers, including returning and newly unveiled copy abilities in Kirby's Return to Dream Land, which launches in two weeks.
First up is the intro in which the Lor Starcutter crashes into PopStar and Kirby and friends pledge their support to Magolor. The sequence even includes music from the cancelled GameCube version.

Majesco Entertainment has unveiled the opening cinematic of Zumba Fitness 2, which will be released on November 15 for Wii. The sequel to the million selling original will feature 32 brand new dance songs and new customization options.

The 3DS port of Tales of the Abyss will hit Europe later this year, while North America will have to wait until next year.
Tales of the Abyss’ 3DS port has finally received release dates for Europe and North America. Namco Bandai plans to release the game in Europe on November 25th of this year; however North American 3DS owners will have to wait until February 14, 2012 to get their hands on the 3DS RPG.

Shin'en's excellent WiiWare platformer is coming to the 3DS.
Shin'en Multimedia, known for its many WiiWare endeavours, as well as the upcoming Nano Assualt, has revealed that they are working on a 3DS sequel to their WiiWare platforming title Jett Rocket.

A complete farewell for GameCube support in the west?
The streamlined version of the Wii, which was revealed during GamesCom 2011, has now also being confirmed for North America.
This hardware revision forces the Wii to sit in a horizontal position, instead of vertical, which was possible thanks to an included stand. The new system also removes all GameCube support, making its software and accessories incompatible.

Nintendo is releasing a new Wii color to commemorate the launch of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic games.
Nintendo UK announced that a new Wii bundle including a blue Wii and a copy of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games will be released on November 18.
There is no word as to whether or not this bundle will arrive in North America or Japan.

Mario will get a new power in Super Mario 3D Land, a boomerang suit, according to recently leaked official art.
The Boomerang Bro., a boomerang-enabled Koopa, debuted in Super Mario Bros. 3, and saw follow-up appearances in a variety of games, including New Super Mario Bros., Mario Super Sluggers, and Super Mario Galaxy 2. The blue boomerang was featured as an item in Super Mario Advance 4's e-Reader levels.

Nintendo is hitting New York Comic Con in a big way.
New York Comic Con will be housing some great Nintendo features and upcoming games. Playable games that have been announced include Super Mario Land 3D, Mario Kart 7, Pokémon Rumble Blast, Shinobi, Sonic Generations, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Kirby’s Return to Dream Land, and Professor Layton and the Last Specter. Terry Cavanagh's latest indie game will make its first 3D appearance.
Nicalis has announced that they will be publishing Terry's Cavanagh's VVVVVV as a 3DS eShop title.
The title is a platformer designed to resemble the classic games of yesteryear, complete with a 8-bit graphical style and chip tune music courtesy of Magnus Palsson. VVVVVV was released late in 2010 for the PC. The main character of the game is Captain Viridian, who must rescue his ship crew, whose names humorously start with the letter "V".

Doctor House makes his third house call, a classic computer game invades DSiWare, and the Pokedex gets updated.
It’s Thursday and that means there are new games to buy on WiiWare, DSiWare, and the eShop. The sole WiiWare release is the shooter Horizon Riders from developer Sabarasa. Influenced by Sega’s Space Harrier, Horizon Riders features arcade-style gameplay and supports both the Wii Balance Board and Wii Zapper. The game retails for 800 Wii Points and a demo version is also available.

Japan gets a new 3DS color this November.
Nintendo will add a new color, Ice White, to the Nintendo 3DS lineup in Japan on November 11.
The unit will be priced at 15,000 yen ($195), the same as the standard price for the 3DS in Japan. Including the new color, this brings the total number of color variations of the 3DS to five in Japan - Aqua Blue, Cosmo Black, Flare Red, Misty Pink (on 20 October), and the upcoming Ice White.

Monster Hunter fans can get a limited edition 3DS unit and more this December!
Nintendo and Capcom are releasing a limited edition Monster Hunter 3G Nintendo 3DS hardware bundle on December 10 in Japan.
The unit itself is a specially designed white 3DS that has Monster Hunter 3G logo and markings and retails for 20,800 yen ($270). Monster Hunter 3G will also be released bundled with the Kakuchou Slide Pad attachment on the same day for 6,990 yen ($91) and the game on its own for 5,800 yen ($75).
