After defeating the likes of Ifrit, Bahamut, and series newbie Amateratsu, players can summon them in battle.
Get ready to fight to Bahamut and Shiva in Final Fantasy Explorers and then, when they're defeated, have them join your party as powerful summons. In total, 12 summons, or "eidolon guardians," are featured in the game, including two (Amateratsu and Dryad) that are brand new to the series. See below for the full list:

May the Ocarina of Time model stay home
The weekly update for Hyrule Warriors Legends in Famitsu has some interesting news for fans of the Great Fairy.
In addition to a Wind Waker-themed Adventure Mode map, the 3DS version will feature a "My Fairy" mode that lets you design fairies and raise them by feeding them with food. The fairies will also provide battle assists.

Not the Hoenn starter most expected.
Pokkén Tournament has added a new fighter who really kicks with grass.
Sceptile, the Grass-typed starter of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, has hit the roster in arcades and will be playable in the Wii U version of the game. Bandai Namco's Japanese trailer also shows Farfetch'd and Electrode being added to the support roster.

This is the kind of week we love – all kinds of major eShop titles to take a share of $60. As was previously announced, FAST Racing Neo speeds into your Wii U memory at roughly Mach 2, while it’s all about the survival on the 3DS with SteamWorld Heist (with discount until the corks pop) and the port of a PC survival hit… Terraria. It might be familiar to those who played Mario Kart 8.
An existing advertising relationship between Nintendo and Mercedes is about to expand again.
A special Super Mario Maker course will drop tonight that will offer a course designed by Mercedes employees and is supposed to recreate automotive-related areas including driving on the autobahn. Completing the course will unlock a Mystery Mushroom for a Mercedes automobile.

Originally promised for this Friday in Europe, it appears the Shovel Knight amiibo is being delayed slightly.
Reports from customers who preordered the amiibo from Nintendo's online store or high street retailer GAME are both reporting a one-week delay in dispatch of the Yacht Club-designed figure from 11 December to 18 December.

The critically acclaimed title is seeing a console release, but not on Wii U.
Although the Wii U version was announced early, Gone Home's console releases will not be heading to Nintendo systems.
Fullbright Games and Midnight City reconfirmed the console releases today would be for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Development head Steve Gaynor confirmed to us that this is those are the only systems in active development:

Europe will be digging into it before Christmas
Yacht Club Games has confirmed the launch date for the Shovel Knight amiibo, and Europe will be having a very merry Christmas.
The amiibo will launch in Europe on 11 December, with a North American release to follow on January 8 in order to ensure there is enough to meet the demand. Some European stores have the amiibo and have sold it, including to Nintendo World Report European chief Daan Koopman.

The PC sensation hops into a crowded field on the 3DS
Add another game to the list of eShop games dropping next week.
The developers of Terraria have announced that the PC hit's 3DS version will come to the eShop next week for $19.99/€19.99/£16.99. A physical version, as well as the Wii U version, are still expected to follow early next year.
Terraria joins SteamWorld Heist and FAST Racing Neo in next Thursday's eShop premium lineup.
