Start your petitions for no IP lock on PSO2... NOW!
Japan's Nintendo Direct featured several announcements for titles that do not have North American dates.
The most prominent title now coming to Switch is Phantasy Star Online 2: Clloud, the direct sequel to the former GameCube MMORPG. Infamously not offered outside of Japan, PSO2:C will be a free-to-start title for the Switch in Japan next year.

November 10 is going to be a busy day.
The champions of Hyrule will be storming the gates of the Amiibo aisles in November.
A brief announcement today confirmed the Amiibo for Daruk, Mipha, Revali, and Urbosa would release separately on November 10. The Amiibo will each give special headgear for Link that is based off their region's Divine Beast, among other functionality.

Pop pop pop 'cause the fun never stop
The ARMS 3.0 update is now live on the eShop.
This major update adds the new character Lola Pop, three new ARMS, and a new stage for the rotation. 3.0 also brings along full button remapping for both fixed and motion control modes.

“Splatoon 2 is one happening game.”
An update this Friday brings a rebalanced Kelp Dome to Splatoon 2, shown off in today’s Direct. The new Kelp Dome has more upper-level grates that can be dropped and shot through.
New stage Snapper Canal encompasses both sides of a river running under a train. Nintendo advised players to fight for the middle, then press into enemy territory.

It's a big Direct for construction games.
Before Dragon Quest Builders II releases on Switch, the original will be available.
Square Enix has announced a Switch version of the story-focused reconstruction title will release worldwide, with the North American release coming next spring. The Switch version will feature exclusive items for the game's free building mode as well as the full story mode.

China does care that you stay in your lane.
A massively popular multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) title is coming to the Switch.
Arena of Valor has been announced for Switch with a free beta due this winter. More than 35 heroes in different classes will be available in the final version.
The game is one of the biggest Chinese PC hits in recent memory and will be published by Chinese gaming and communications giant Tencent.

Surprise Switch launch hit Snipperclips is getting expanded and also a full retail release.
An expansion for the game will be available on November 10 from the eShop that will add 30 new stages and a remix mode for the existing stages that starts with the characters in fixed shapes, among other new elements.

See, it wasn't just Shadow Dragon and the 3DS.
The most beloved female character in Fire Emblem history has joined the roster for Fire Emblem Warriors.
Lyn from Fire Emblem (The Blazing Blade) was announced for the Switch / New 3DS title today, the first character to come from a GBA Fire Emblem title. She will be a sword wielder in the game.

Yes you can possess everything, including man-hole covers.
We've got our plot, Mario needs to save Princess Peach. This time it's from the evil clutches of Bowser.
What is new though are the ghost like residents from the Cap Kingdom, Capps and Tiara. Using the powers of Tiara, Bowser is forcing the princess to marry him and it's up to Mario and his new companion Cappy to save them.

How to enhance your remake in a snap
The enhanced remake of Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga will add more than the Bowser's Minions game.
The existing Boo Amiibo as well as the upcoming Goomba and Koopa Troopa figures will add stamps to the game that will unlock items. These new unlocks will work in both the Superstar Saga portion and the Bowser's Minions portions of the game.

Mario Party: The Top 100 launches November 10 for the 3DS family of systems, Nintendo announced in today’s Direct.
The collection features 100 hand-picked minigames from the ten console Mario Party games. Download Play will allow four 3DS systems to play off one copy. No details were given for board themes or mechanics.

Poke Balls and creamsicles.
The New 2DSXL will be getting a couple of new designs this fall.
October 6 will see the launch of the orange and white design that launched with the system outside of North America. On November 3, a New 2DSXL with a Poké Ball inspired design will launch ahead of the release of Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

Great, another army of Steves.
New 3DS owners can start creating worlds in Minecraft today.
The international phenomenon was announced to be coming to New 3DS today. This new port of the game will come with five exclusive skins, and has been confirmed to be developed by Other Ocean with the aid of some development staff from the 3DS version of the Mega Man Legacy Collection.

Bethesda is bringing their top titles to the Nintendo Switch very soon.
Along with the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Bethesda is also bringing Doom and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus to the Nintendo Switch within the next year.

A smorgasboard of RPG goodness from Atlus
Atlus featured prominently in today's 3DS announcements with a new game and a demo to announce.
In addition to Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology and Shin Megami Tensei Deep Strange Journey, Atlus will be bringing The Alliance Alive to North America next year. Developed by FuRyu, the title is a follow up to 2015's Legend of Legacy.

A double dose of the puffball
Two different Kirby titles were reconfirmed with titles today.
The first is Kirby Battle Royale, which is the multiplayer Kirby 3DS title announced in April's Nintendo Direct. The four player action game will feature multiple KIrbys trying to claim treasure for themselves while defeating powerful foes in tandem. Europe will get the game on November 10, while North America will see the game January 19, 2018.
