A bunch of new attractions were revealed by Nintendo of Europe president Satoru Shibata in the European Nintendo Direct presentation.
The total line-up of events are The Legend of Zelda: Battle Quest, Pikmin Adventure, Metroid Blast, Mario Chase, Luigi's Ghost Mansion, Animal Crossing: Sweet Days, Yoshi's Fruit Cart, Octopus Dance, Donkey Kong's Crash Course, Takamaru's Ninja Castle, Captain Falcon's Twister Race and Balloon Trip Breeze.

The Wii Sports Resort-style stamp system makes a return in Nintendo Land
Nintendo Land will feature a stamp accomplishment system, similar to what was featured in Wii Sports Resort. We were able to achieve such a stamp during Metroid Blast, one of the newly featured Nintendo Land attractions while playing the game on the show floor.
We'll keep digging to find out what other stamps are there, and what kind of accomplishments are required to unlock them.

Here are the down-under details for Nintendo's new console.
Nintendo Wii U will launch on Friday, the 30th of November in Australia and New Zealand. The console will come in two different packs like in other regions.

LEGO collectors are going to want to secure their copy before launch.
Customers who pre-order LEGO City Undercover will receive a mini-figurine of the game's main character, Chase McCain. It is currently unknown which retailers will participate in the promotion.
Chase McCain is modeled after a New York cop, with the last name being a clear reference to Die Hard's John McClain. LEGO City Undercover takes place in an open-world city with gameplay that emulates Grand Theft Auto.

The action title will now be known as The Wonderful 101.
Project P-100 has been officially titled The Wonderful 101. The Platinum Games release is set for a release in the Wii U launch window from November 18 through March 31 2013.
A trailer for the game was shown at the New York event this morning in which a voice over revealed "I knew we forgot one... U!", a reference to the previous name of Project P-100 and the title of the console, Wii U.

The best packages come with zombies... we think!
Similar to the Wii U pack that will be available for Monster Hunter 3G in Japan, Europe is getting a special ZombiU pack at launch. This was revealed during a European Nintendo Direct presentation.
The pack will include a black Wii U system, the Wii U GamePad, a black Pro Controller and of course the game. Since prices are set by retailers in Europe, we don't know exactly what we should expect to pay for the bundle.

Another Platinum exclusive will be the sequel to a previous title.
Bayonetta 2 will be a Wii U Exclusive. Satoru Iwata revealed the game during the Japanese Nintendo Direct Wii U Preview. It will be Wii U exclusive and published from Nintendo, but the corporate logo of Sega, the publisher of the original Beyonetta, is also seen in the trailer. The release date and its price are yet to be announced.

Gamers in Japan will have to wait a little bit longer to play these Nintendo releases.
Pikmin 3 and Wii Fit U are set to release on the Wii U next spring in Japan. The information was revealed during the Nintendo Direct Wii U Preview for Japan. Nintendo is delivering two first party titles for the launch in the Japan on December 8, New Super Mario Bros. U and Nintendo Land.

The special edition puzzle game will feature giant 80x80 images that are solved in individual picross-sized chunks.
Nintendo has just added Club Nintendo Picross as a reward to the Japanese Club Nintendo customer loyalty program.
The game is a special edition of Nintendo's Picross franchise where players use clues to determine what spaces in a 10x10 or 15x15 grid to mark and what to leave empty, revealing a pattern or image when they're done. (These puzzles are also known as nonograms).

You can transfer your downloadable titles to Wii U at launch!
Players will be able to transfer their downloaded Virtual Console and WiiWare titles from their Nintendo Wii to their new Wii U consoles. The feature will be available at launch, though details are unknown at this point in time. Everything from Wii Remote controllers to stands can be purchased alongside the Wii U.
Nintendo showcased some of the accessories gamers can get for their brand new Japanese Wii U when it releases in Japan on December 8.
One accessory already confirmed for the system is the Wii U Pro Controller. A traditional controller, the Wii U Pro Controller comes in black and white, and has been priced at 5,040 yen ($65).
