Twilight Princess to Use Revolution ControllerWiiGC

A UK magazine also reveals tentative launch dates for Zelda and Revolution in the country.

NGC Magazine has been around the United Kingdom for a few years now, so a scoop like this is likely legit. Nintendo has informed the publication what's been going on with the new Zelda, and the details revealed might confirm some of the speculation that's come about from the delay.

It appears that Twlight Princess will be compatible with the Revolution controller when played on the Revolution. This doesn't mean that the title has been scrapped from the GameCube, as it will still be released as a GameCube game. Inserting the Zelda disc into the backwards-compatible Revolution will enable the Revolution controller mode if desired.

A new publisher comes out of the woodwork with some next-gen Nintendo titles in the pipeline.

You probably haven't heard of AQ Interactive. The new Japanese company has managed the development of a few games, the most familiar to Nintendo fans being the Artoon-developed Yoshi Topsy Turvy for Game Boy Advance.

During a press conference in Tokyo eariler today, AQ announced that they will begin to publish games on their own label instead of through third parties. With this announcement came one of game projects in development across all next-gen console and handheld systems, including the Nintendo DS and the Revolution. Two for each the Nintendo systems, in fact.

As what could be surmised to be a Christmas-time gift to his loyal fanbase, Nintendo of America's Vice President of Sales & Marketing Reginald Fils-Aime will appear at the Bellevue Square McDonalds in Bellvue, Washington on Monday, December 19th.

What's more, he will be playing Mario Kart DS in Worldwide mode (as NOA_Reggie), so that he may take names globally.

Nintendo will also have Nintendo DS systems available for those who swing by and want to play. They even have two DS systems to give away: one autographed by Reggie and the other by Fall Out Boy (from the Nintendo Fusion Tour).

A name confirmation, an official website, and more!

Until today, there haven't been too many details concerning Namco's Tales series' move to the Nintendo DS. However, you'll now not only be able to find its official website (in Japanese, however), but also the character art of what we can only assume will be the protagonist of the game.

Expect Tales of the Tempest to hit Japan in 2006; a U.S. release has yet to be announced.
