James Jones is this column's daddy.

It feels like a light week, but there's some big stuff that will keep the Switch humming for another couple of months. Friday sees the drop of Dragon Quest Builders, which offers all the fun of Minecraft plus a point. There's also Mercenary Kings: Reloaded Edition and Dandara representing the indie movement in style.

The old-school front has a modern twist this week as though we can't get Giant Bomb Old GOTY Windjammers, we can get the next best thing with Disc Jam. In other retro news, the Archives pick up Super Baseball 2020 (aka Baseball Stars II WITH ROBOTS - punching not included) and Crazy Climber, plus the TG-CD and TG-16 games that the Wii U got last week in Europe are now in North America.

Europe has a similar lineup with the addition of last week's Crypt of the Necrodancer, while Tak Fuji hopes you will be sucked... into his new rhythm game, Gal Metal.

And if James Jones feels the need to punch this column up now that we're under new management, he has my sword. Think of it as a reward for getting The Hollywood Roast's Weinstein jokes pulled from the eShop.

The Darkside Detective is a fun little adventure game. The puzzles make sense and not too hard. I liked the humor as well.
