Other announcements from today's Nintendo Direct:

• Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will finally hit Switch 2 on September 18, about four months after it launched on other platforms.
• A trailer for The Witcher 3 Remastered (Sept 29) went over specific Switch 2 features including gyro and mouse controls, and also reconfirmed the Songs of the Past final DLC would be available next year.
• Action adventure / horror game Hell Is Us confirmed an October 8 Switch 2 release.
• Ubisoft will publish a Switch 2 version of The Crew: Motorfest on October 8.
• Rebuilding simulator (ripped off about 5000 times on the eShop) House Flipper 2 has scheduled a move-in date of October 15 for Switch 2.
• The original co-op adventure It Takes Two will receive a Switch 2 version on October 15 and owners of the Switch version will be able to upgrade for free in most territories.
• Free-to-start (developed by Gameloft) game Bluey's Happy Snaps based on the animated series will snap a Switch 2 and Switch release on October 15 as well.
• The Saudi Arabia-owned SNK made a pair of announcements, with Cristiano Ronaldo's Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves releasing October 22 (physical in January) and a collection of Metal Slug games programmed by M2 will be out next year which includes a location test version of the original and Metal Slug Advance.
• Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy will make its Nintendo direct download debut in an Encore Edition on November 5 for Switch 2: it was previously a cloud release for Switch.
• Stellar Blade Complete will release on November 5, and will be accompanied by a Bayonetta-themed outfit for maximum squick.
• It's Sonic's 30th anniversary, and his crossover with Pico Park is coming on November 12 (Switch 2 + Switch).
• The next expansion for Disney Dreamlight Valley called "The Keepsake Sea" will be out in November, and focuses on aquatic characters like Capt. Jack Sparrow and The Little Mermaid.
• Hela: Of Mice And Magic is an open-world adventure starring a mouse which will burrow into the Switch 2 (including physically) on December 1.
• Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream will follow on December 3 for Switch 2: it is an adventure set in an early 1900s Nordic city and has touch screen and mouse control options.
• They're giving Luke a gun in Professor Layton and the New World of Steam which will make 2026 barely (December 10): the next entry in the Yo-Kai Watch series is a remake of the Yo-Kai Watch 2 games called Haunted Domain and is confirmed to be in development but has no release window.
• Free-to-play life sim Palia will have a Switch 2 Edition launch in December.
• Shooter RPG The Ascent will also come to the Switch 2 in December with mouse control support and all prior DLC included (as an Ultimate Edition).
• The partner rapid fire reel opened with the Switch 2 edition of 007: First Light which still has no date beyond 2026.
• For unavoidable reasons, Danganronpa 2x2 (recently moved to a Game Key Card for its physical release) will hold its first class trials January 14.
• An extended gameplay trailer for Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis (February 12) was shown during the Direct.
• It's not card games on motorcycles (yet), but a remake of Yu-Gi-Oh Tag Force (2006, PSP) will deal a Switch 2 and Switch release February 16. The game's eShop listing is live for preorders, and has a three line disclosure of generative AI used for some of the language translations (which ones are not specified).
• Also due on February 16 is Romancing Saga 3: Destinies United for Switch 2 / Switch as recently spotted by the Brazilian ratings authority.
• Eternal Anima is a new Marvelous-published RPG that will bring time travel and a timing-based combat system a la Grandia to Switch 2 on March 4.
• Far Cry 3 and its highly 80s-tinged spinoff Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon will come to Switch 2 next spring.
• Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will come to Switch with a Royal Edition next year including all of the previous DLC.
• Ondeh Ondeh: Kaya's Tasty Tale is a music-focused action game that Bandai Namco will publish next year.
• A rare handheld only Switch 2 game called Onyx: The Dark Grip from Bloober Team is due next year: the game makes heavy use of the touchscreen for puzzle solving.
• Stage Fright is a new 3 player co-op action game scheduled for 2027: it is developed by Ghost Town Games (Overcooked) and published by Hello Games (No Man's Sky)'s publishing label.
• Koei Tecmo and developer Gust will bring licensed mystery solving game The Apothecary Diaries: The False Imperial Brother to Switch 2 and Switch next year.
