"Demon Training" is coming to North America this year.
Brain Age: Concentration Training, the latest entry in the popular Brain Age series, is coming to 3DS in North America on December 3.
The game came out in Japan in late July under the name Touhoku Daigaku Kareiigakukenkyuujo Kawashima Ryuuta Kyouju Kanshuu Monosugoku Nou o Kitareru 5 Funkan no Oni Training. It features a demon version of Dr. Kawashima, and a lot of exercises that work the memory.

If you want the game you won't have to wait much longer for it to be available.
Toki Tori has been confirmed and approved for release on the Nintendo eShop this Thursday, according to a message sent out by Two Tribes via Twitter.
Earlier this summer we learned that Toki Tori would be coming to the 3DS Virtual Console as a Game Boy Color title. The promise of this game being available is now being fulfilled as it will be available on August 30, 2012. Toki Tori launched earlier this month in Europe

In this video, the video game version of Satoru Iwata does awesome things like ride roller coasters and play in a rock band.
Tomodachi Collection is coming to 3DS in Japan in spring 2013. The game, originally announced in September 2011 and slated for a fiscal year 2012 release, is the follow-up to the beloved 2009 DS release of the same name.
The below trailer is pretty much ridiculous, showcasing Nintendo President Satoru Iwata in a multitude of whimsical situations.

Gamers in Japan can try out some of the games they just learned about!
Immediately after the latest Nintendo Direct Event in Japan, four new demos appeared on the eShop on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan. Players can download demos for Medalot 7, Samurai Chronicles The Second, Rhythm Hunter: HarmoKnight, and Airport Hero 3D.
All of the titles, with the exception of Airport Hero 3D, will be available for purchase next month. There is currently no word if any of these titles will be released in the West.

Capcom's cel shaded, stylized Lost Planet spin-off hits this November.
EX Troopers, a Lost Planet spin-off title developed by Capcom, will release on November 22 in Japan for 5,990 yen.
The game, which is an action “beginner’s shooter” puts players in the role of Bren Turner who is enrolled in an academy on EDN-3rd, one of the main locations from the game. The game features a cel-shaded, anime-inspired look that sets it apart visually from the main games in the Lost Planet series.

The popular Genius Sonority RPG gets a sequel!
Denpa Ningen no RPG 2, the sequel to the popular Genious Sonority RPG, Denpa Ningen no RPG, released earlier in the year in Japan, is coming to the Nintendo 3DS eShop in Japan on September 26 for 1,000 yen.
Players will be able to transfer their characters from the original title, as well as have a chance to try out the Denpa Ningen 2 with a demo shortly beforehand.

Gamers in Japan will have a chance to win a limited edition Culdcept Nintendo 3DS LL (3DS XL in the West) in Japan.
Nintendo is holding a Culdcept championship on November 3 to decide who will win the limited edition unit. Nintendo also released a new card for Culdcept immediately following the Nintendo Direct conference called the “power crown.”

UPDATE: Animal Crossing Direct coming before the game launches.
UPDATE: Animal Crossing Tobidase will get a special Nintendo Direct Event shortly before the title releases in Japan. Titles such as Oni Training and Pocket Soccer League Culcio Bit received the same treatment earlier this summer. No specific date has been set for the event.

Gamers in Japan have yet another option when it comes to buying a 3DS.
A pink and white Nintendo 3DS LL, known as the 3DS XL in the West, is coming to Japan on September 27 for 18,900 yen. The system is releasing at the same time as the upcoming fashion game, Wagamama Fashion Girls Mode Yokubari Sengen. There is currently no word on this new color coming to the West.

Rhythm Hunter: HarmoKnight, a rhythm game developed by Game Freak (the same team that develops Pokémon), is coming to the eShop in Japan next month, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata revelaed during the latest Japanese Nintendo Direct.
Rhythm Hunter is a combination of rhythm and action, and tasks the player with jumping and attacking through a stage with correct timing. An Iwata Asks will be released for the game today.

Layton's second season comes to a close next year.
Layton Kyōju Chō bunmei A no Isan, translated to Professor Layton and the Legacy of Super Civilization A, has been announced for a release on the Nintendo 3DS next year. The title promises to have the same puzzle-solving that we all know and love coupled with the same charming art style we've come to expect.

Does a tweet from one of Pachter's fans give a glimpse into a Wii U promotion?
Burger King might be offering Wii U toys starting on October 25, according to a rumor discussed by Game Industry Analyst Michael Pachter on a recent episode of Pach Attack.
There is also speculation that these Burger King toys could include some sort of NFC (near-field communication) capabilities, making use of a little-discussed feature of the Wii U GamePad.

There will also be a Kid Icarus tournament to play in and Paper Mario stickers to collect.
The Wii U and a slew of 3DS games will be playable at PAX Prime in Seattle this week, according to Nintendo.
At their booth (#462), players can check out the Wii U in what, we assume, will be the E3 2012 demos of those games, which include New Super Mario Bros. U, Pikmin 3, ZombiU, Rayman Legends, and more.

Umbra is now officially partnered with Nintendo to supply middleware tools for the Wii U.
With the partnership, a version of Umbra's rendering optimization middleware can be used by Wii U developers. The middleware is currently being used in the upcoming Wii U version of Mass Effect 3.
