Watch Mario, Luigi, Link, Zelda, and more interact with Maxwell on Wii U.
Mario and Zelda characters and items are going to be available in Scribblenauts Unlimited on Wii U, according to Warner Bros.
Teased earlier this week, the reveal shows Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Yoshi from the Mario side, and Link, Zelda, Epona, and a Goron from the Zelda side. They will all act in a similar manner to how they would act in their games. These characters and items will be exclusive to the Wii U version of the game.

Can you use the controller in your bathroom? Several factors will contribute.
The Wii U GamePad "will be fine within the same space" according to Toru Yamashita of Nintendo's product development department during the latest Iwata Asks.
Some individuals will be able to use the Wii U GamePad at a further range than others, but it will all come down to the interference between the console and the controller.

Japan gets their fourth Picross game on the eShop.
Picross 2, the sequel to Mario’s Picross on the Game Boy, is scheduled to release in Japan on the Nintendo 3DS eShop next week on October 24.

Activision is working with Nintendo to figure out the game's online functionality.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II on Wii U might support the Elite service and a Season Pass for downloadable content, Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg informed Polygon.
When asked if the Wii U version of Black Ops II would include these online systems, Hirshberg stated: "That's our goal, but the honest answer here is that we're still working out the details with Nintendo."

A new image appears to tease some Nintendo characters joining Maxwell in his latest adventure.
A teaser image for the upcoming 3DS and Wii U versions of Scribblenauts Unlimited appears to show some iconic Nintendo characters in grayed out silhouettes. The image was discovered by Kotaku.

Symphony of the Goddesses will play in Sydney next February.
The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses will be heading to Australia next year to continue its tour.
The first confirmed sessions to take place in Australia are to be held at the Sydney Opera House in Sydney, New South Wales. Session times are 8pm on Friday, February 1st and 2pm on Saturday the 2nd. The Australian developer is supposedly porting yet another game to Nintendo's new system.
Straight Right is rumored to be porting a "triple-A" Square Enix title to the Wii U. This information comes from an update to Straight Right Technical Project Manager Chris Slater's LinkedIn profile.
Before Slater's profile was updated, it read "Working for Straight Right on a short term contract, porting a triple-A Square Enix game to the yet-to-be-released Wii U platform."

The official word on Castle of Illusion hitting Virtual Console and a new Ducktales game is, as of this moment, "no comment," according to Epic Mickey 2 Director Warren Spector at a roundtable during New York Comic Con. The new Wii bundle will appeal to sporting types.
A new Wii bundle is being released to US stores at a suggested retail price of $129.99. The bundle will replace the existing bundle which includes New Super Mario Bros. Wii and a music CD at the $149.99 price point, and will include Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort on a single disc.
The new bundle includes a black Wii console and both a black Wii Remote Plus and Nunchuk.

Developer Two Tribes hoping the sequel to the egg-collecting puzzle platformer will be available for the Wii U on day one.
Toki Tori 2 is aiming to be a launch title for the Wii U eShop, according to developer Two Tribes.
The game, whose predecessor is available both on WiiWare and in its Game Boy Color form on the 3DS Virtual Console, changes up the formula by removing the items and weapons that were used to complete puzzles in the original in favor of more environmental puzzles. The Wii U version will also optionally be playable entirely on the GamePad.

Walmart stores across the United States are now accepting pre-orders for Wii U Deluxe Set until November 1.
