The Wii and Wii U are still getting releases in October of 2018.
Along with the Switch, the legacy Nintendo platforms will receive their annual Just Dance release with Just Dance 2019, scheduled for release on October 23. Artists confirmed for the game include Bruno Mars and Cardi B ("Finesse"), Daddy Yankee ("Shaky Shaky"), and Mayra Veronica ("Mama Mia").

We've had the programmer for the new game on a telethon.
Limited Run Games's E3 presentation has just wrapped with some big Switch announcements.
Two brand new games for Switch were announced during the presentation. Dust: An Elysian Tale, the first game from Never Stop Sneakin' developers Humble Hearts, will come to Switch with a LRG physical release. The digital version is slated to launch within "a month or two".

Look, if you can't believe Chance the Rapper who can you believe?
Paladins may not be the only mega-popular shooter launching on Switch tomorrow, if an apparent eShop listing is to be believed.

The annual Devolver Digital press conference performance featured a Switch announcement that fit the wackiness.
My Friend Pedro has been announced for a 2019 release by Devolver. A side scrolling action title, the game stars an unidentified character who is urged to slaughter everything in his path by a sentient banana.

There's at least 75 vaults still to open.
Mobile hit Fallout Shelter will be unlocking on Switch tonight.
The free-to-start strategy simulation released at E3 2015 on mobile, and has been played by over 120 million players in that time. The goal is to build a successful vault as its overseer, managing the daily lives of its residents.

Bethesda is still dealing on the Switch.
During their E3 presentation, Bethesda confirmed that strategy card game The Elder Scrolls: Legends would come to Switch later this year. Previously available on mobile, the card game can carry progress from there or PC with a Bethesda account.

Yes, that one.
The first Tales game for the Switch is already celebrating an anniversary.
Bandai Namco has announced a remastered version of 2008's Tales of Vesperia, which will come to all consoles including Switch this winter. The game was initially announced at Microsoft's E3 game presentation.
The remaster will include the full 2008 release, as well as content from the PlayStation 3 version of the game that was never localized and dual audio.

Time to complete the treble.
FIFA 19 will take the Switch pitch at the end of September.
The annual soccer phenomenon was shown at today's EA Play kickoff event with a release date of September 28 for all versions including Switch.
One of the soccer world's biggest annual competittions, the UEFA Champions League, has been licensed by EA for this year's editions, though only the story mode - not present on Switch - was mentioned as featuring it.

In case you missed it the first time - and let's face it, you probably did.
A Wii U cult hit is getting a second lease on NIntendo life with a little help from a friend.
XSEED Games have announced a partnership with Freedom Planet developer GalaxyTrail to bring the game to Switch this fall. It will be playable in the XSEED E3 booth on Switch.
Originally released in 2015 on Wii U, Matt West called it "the best Sonic game in years".

Hamster held a livestream today in Japan to announce the next few Arcade Archives titles from the Neo-Geo.
Super Sidekicks 3: The Next Glory is first up, releasing next week. Following it will be 2D fighter The Last Blade 2, cult classic puzzle game Money Puzzle Exchanger, early first person action RPG The Super Spy, and early bowling sim League Bowling.

The twisted tale of Clementine will be here soon.
At least one season of one of the most critically acclaimed adventure series of the decade will play out on Switch before the end of 2018.
Telltale Games has confirmed that The Walking Dead: The Final Season will come to Switch "later this year". Previous Telltale Switch releases have released in complete packages, such as Minecraft: Story Mode and the Telltale Batman series, as opposed to their normal episodic model.

The Switch will be able to determine a chairman of the board this winter.
VentureBeat has confirmed that Asmodee Digital, publisher of multiple digital adaptations of board games, will begun publishing versions of its licenses on Switch starting with Carcassone. In the statement to VentureBeat, Asmodee confirmed that it would be the "first of many" Switch titles.

GungHo Online Entertainment has announced the contents of their E3 booth, and the Switch will be well represented.
The company announced a follow-up to the 17-Bit developed shooter Galak-Z today called Galak-Z: Variant S. A follow-up to the 2015 original, it will be a horizontal space shooter based on Japanese animation.

Throw a couple dozen more games on the Switch this week as the platform continues to pile up the big guns. In stores now is the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection - even if most default kits would be suboptimal for it - as well as Vita refugee Fallen Legion and Yoku's Island Express, who will be getting its card release in a few weeks.

I guess we'll add the screens and art to the Rogue's Gallery.
The oft-rumored title featuring playable DC villains is finally a reality.
WB announced that their second LEGO title for 2018 would be LEGO DC Super Villains, which will release on October 16. The full roster has not yet been revealed, but DC standbys such as Harley Quinn, The Joker, and Lex Luthor have been confirmed.
