Those eager to try out one of the biggest games for the 3DS can do so soon.
A Resident Evil: Revelations demo is set to make its debut in North America and Europe very soon, Christian Svensson, Corporate Officer/Senior Vice-President for Capcom, confirmed.
Svensson noted that in North America they are awaiting Nintendo of America's approval before they can release it on the eShop. A release date for the demo will be announced after that.

Nintendo has announced more states and dates for the Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses Tour. Previously, some states and dates were leaked, but this confirms the full tour that will happen throughout 2012.

The European eShop got this title last year, but Americans will not have to wait much longer.
Zen Pinball 3D is coming to the North American eShop next week.
Zen Pinball saw release on the European eShop in November 2011. American 3DS owners can plan on purchasing the game January 12, when it releases for $6.99.
The game includes four tables, but expect more to be released later via DLC. Zen Pinball features online leaderboards as well as a multiplayer mode.

Samurai and Zombies all in one week.
Nintendo's Download Services received four new games this week, however, the Wii's Virtual Console was once again left out.
This week the 3DS eShop received Samurai Sword Destiny. This hack-and-slash adventure sets female samurai, Akane, out into the world in search of her missing brother. Samurai Sword Destiny is available for $5.99.

Toki Tori 2 may be coming to Wii U according to a Twitter post by developer Two Tribes Games that seeks to gauge interest in such a port.

The long-rumored Pokémon Black and White update might be coming soon.
An ad for the next Pokémon movie may be throwing hints of a possible Pokémon Gray, based on speculation by Pokebeach.com.
The ad for the 15th movie is featured in the latest issue of CoroCoro magazine, and amongst its headlines it states the following: “What mystery is hidden in Kyurem?” and “Kyurem’s unseen power will be revealed!”

Capcom confirms its support of the bill, while the ESA explains their backing.
The ESA released a statement explaining their backing of SOPA. Capcom also issued a statement confirming their support of the bill.

GlitterBerri has translated part of the The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword manga.
If you head over to the GlitterBerri website you can read the first 15 pages. This is only about half of the entire manga. The remaining pages of the manga will likely be translated soon and updated on GlitterBerri's website. The blog also includes a number of translated scans from Hyrule Historia.

Originally only available as DSiWare, the game finally made its eShop debut.
DSiWare game, Pinball Pulse, finally made its way to the 3DS eShop.
Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon was originally a DSiWare game that was unavailable on the 3DS at the eShop's launch. If you now search the eShop for the game, you can find and download the title for $4.99.
If you originally downloaded the title on your DSi, you can now transfer it over to your 3DS.

According to Nikkei Trendy, Nintendo might be planning on updating the 3DS's design.
Update: It turns out that Nikkei Trendy was speculating based on past Nintendo actions; they had no new information regarding a 3DS revision.
In the latest issue of Nikkei Trendy, a blurb appears underneath a picture of what appears to be a standard 3DS.
Very loosely translated, this text reads, "To promote sales of the 3DS, which is thick, a new lighter version may be introduced."

The famous point-and-click puzzler will receive its own 3DS iteration.
Myst for 3DS has been announced and will arrive in March 2012.
Maximum Family Games announced that they will be publishing the game, which is developed by Hoplite Research. Hoplite also did work on previous ports of the classic PC point-and-click adventure, including those on the DS and PlayStation Portable.

Family Games proves to be their biggest hit on the service.
Icon Games has released sales numbers of some of their WiiWare game releases.
Their most successful title is Family Games with an estimated 14,439 downloads. Coming in second is Stunt Cars with 12,577 downloads. In third place is Arcade Sports with 11,282 downloads. Finally, Soccer Bashi netted 2,515 downloads since its release. In total, Icon Games totaled 40,810 downloads through the WiiWare service.

An e-reader could be the first of many app experiments on the Wii U.
The Wii U may yield an expansion of apps according to rumors that have surfaced around the web, one of them stating that an e-reader service for digital books is in the works.
According to an anonymous source of Forget the Box, Nintendo has approached a software company in Los Angeles in order to publish some iOS software on the Wii U so it can be played using the system's touch screen controller.

Nintendo has revealed that the Nintendo 3DS has now sold over 4 Million Units in the United States. Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword have also sold more than 1 million copies each.
Nintendo credited the strong software lineup as one of the main reasons for the 3DS's 2011 success. The 3DS has now sold more units than the Wii did in their first nine months on the market.

A dedicated Super Mario 64 fan, calling himself Skelux, has released a complete modification for the Nintendo 64 classic.
Over a year in the making, the project is a full-featured expansion to the precedential Super Mario 64, and includes more than 30 original areas and 120 Power Stars to collect. In addition, it boasts new music and new objects for Mario to interact with.

The developer behind Super Meat Boy may see his latest title ported to the 3DS.
Edmund McMillen’s most recent title, The Binding of Isaac, may be coming to the Nintendo 3DS. According to McMillen, an unknown publisher is currently asking Nintendo for permission to port the PC game to the handheld. Additionally, Edmund stated that The Binding of Isaac is only being considered for release on the 3DS and would not be ported to iOS or other consoles.

UPDATE: The ESA, of which Nintendo is a member, still supports the controversial online anti-piracy bill.
UPDATE: Although Nintendo's name no longer appears on the list of the bill's supporters, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) is still listed. Nintendo, along with both Sony's game divisions and EA, is a member of the industry-wide lobbying group, and the ESA still appears to visibly support the SOPA legislation on behalf of its members.
