Jury awards inventor $30.2 million in compensatory damages.
A United States federal jury found that Nintendo infringed on a patent on a glasses-free 3D display.
Seijiro Tomita, the patent owner of glasses-free 3D display and former longtime Sony Corp. employee, was rewarded $30.2 million by the jury. Tomita had sued Nintendo of America back in 2011.

If only the Harp of Ages was real...
Eiji Aonuma, producer of the Legend of Zelda series, remarked on the Miiverse that Game Boy Color titles Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons will be available on the 3DS eShop "before Summer".
The message is found in the Legend of Zelda Miiverse community, where Aonuma notes that while the two GBC games have already been released in Japan, "Our plan is to release these two games in other territories some time before summer!"

Is a Pikmin movie right around the corner? Probably not.
Pikmin animated shorts are coming to the 3DS.
Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of Pikmin and Mario, is working in conjuction with an outside animation studio to produce CG Pikmin cartoons. Interest was tested in a dedicated Pikmin series when Nintendo worked with Japanese movie theater chain Toho Cinemas on a segment shown before a film.

His harvests may have ended, but Yasuhiro Wada is back in shop form.
Harvest Moon creator Yasuhiro Wada's 3DS game Project Happiness has been given its official title: Hometown Story.
The game, according to a Famitsu preview translated by Gematsu, has players running a shop in a small town. A fairy assists the player in his duties, and as the shop grows with success, its clientele expands. Players can befriend these shoppers, and at game's end, can choose one of seven wishes to make some of them very happy.

Gamers in Japan can get their NFC fix on the Wii U next month.
Pokémon Rumble U, known as Pokémon Scramble U in Japan, will make use of NFC figures in the game, CoroCoro magazine reports. The game is scheduled to go on sale in Japan on the Wii U eShop on April 24 for 1,800 yen.

Mint green is apparently all the rage for devices nowadays.
Two new Nintendo 3DS XL units, Mint and White and a special Tomodachi Collection bundle, are set to be released in Japan on April 18.
