The Wii U eShop is finally getting another digital only release.
Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2 is being released digitally for the Wii U eShop on February 7 in North America and February 8 in Europe.

The Mutant Mudds' developer has something new up their sleeves.
A new FPS from Renegade Kid is heading to the 3DS eShop later this year, according to Renegade Kid's Jools Watsham in a Nintendo Force interview.

This 3DS will make a great collectors' item.
A limited edition Fire Emblem: Awakening 3DS hardware bundle is coming to North America. The bundle will include a pre-installed copy of Fire Emblem: Awakening and a specially designed 3DS featuring artwork based on the game.
Nintendo plans to release the bundle in both the United States and Canada.

The animal kingdom dominates this week's Nintendo Downloads.
Well, this sure is a big change from the single DSiWare title we knew about. All the download services are getting some love today, starting with the Wii U eShop and its ZombiU and NBA 2K13 demos. 3DS eShop is no slouch with Hello Kitty Picnic with Sanrio Friends, Reel Fishing 3D Paradise Mini, and 101 Dino Pets 3D. Capping things off is the Wii Virtual Console getting another fighter in the form of World Heroes 2.

A few years back, Activision contracted the Mutant Mudds developer to make a Crash Bandicoot demo.
Renegade Kid made a Crash Bandicoot DS demo, called Crash Landed, for Activision sometime around 2008 or 2009, according to a video from an anonymous source close to Activision.

UPDATE: Layton's release date is confirmed by Level-5 and a new preview video for the game is available!
UPDATE: Level-5 has officially launched the Japanese website for the Professor Layton and the Azran Legacies which confirms the February 28 release date in Japan. The packaged version of the game will retail for 5,500 yen while the downloadable version will go for 5,000. Be sure to check out the latest preview video from Level-5 below!

Nearly two years since launch, Japanese 3DS owners can download Hershel's penultimate adventure.
Level-5 will be releasing their 3DS launch title Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask in an upgraded form on the Japanese eShop.
The revised game, known as Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask +, will arrive on February 6 and boasts a variety of enhancements. News of this release comes from Famitsu, as reported by Siliconera. It will sell for 3,000 yen.

It's new Pokémon, dammit!
Pokémon X and Y have been announced for 3DS release later this year.
The games were announced via the special Pokémon Direct hosted by Satoru Iwata. The games feature entirely 3D graphics and new Pokémon.
New Pokémon include Fennekin (Fire-type), Froakie (Water-type), and Chespin (Grass-type). Two larger new Pokémon were also shown, but not named.

Test drive the 3DS game with the super-long title (Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate) before its March release.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate will be getting an eShop demo prior to its March 5 release in North America, according to Producer Dave Cox.
The game, a side-scrolling cross between Lords of Shadow's combat-heavy gameplay and other portable Castlevania game's Metroidvania design, was previously set for a 2012 release before the delay to 2013. You can check out our E3 2012 impressions here.

Pokémon event to be broadcast worldwide.
Major Pokémon news will be revealed tomorrow through a special "Pokémon Direct."
The presentation, hosted by Nintendo President Satoru Iwata, will broadcast around the world, airing in North America at 6 AM EST, Europe at 12 noon CET, and 8 PM in Japan.
The tweets from Nintendo of America and Europe note this as a "short message," with Serebii reporting that it will be 10 minutes in length.

Wii U players have the chance to get the game cheaper for another month!
The eShop deal in North America for the downloadable title Little Inferno, will be extended until February 1st. This is what developer Tomorrow Corporation has announced to the public.
Little Inferno went on sale on December 20th from $14.99 to $9.99 and the deal was supposed to end last Thursday on January 4th. The developer has decided to give Wii U players more time, though no specific reasons were given as to why.
