At the close of business today in Japan, Nintendo held a press conference to announce their financial results for fiscal 2017, which ended on March 31.

All monetary results quoted below are in yen, with a dollar figure based on current market rates in US$ ($1 = ¥109.26 at press time) for comparison.

Take out Nazis IN AMERICA

Wolfenstein II is enlisting on the Switch at the end of June.

The critically acclaimed first person shooter will release on June 29. Panic Button, the specialist studio who worked on Bethesda's port of Doom (2016) have been officially confirmed as handling Wolfenstein II as well.

The motion control options that were added to Doom post-launch will be on the shipping game for Wolfenstein II.

Splatoon 2 Version 3 Launching Tonight: Adds Rank X And More Switch

Splatoon 2 is getting a bit more fresh tonight.

The 3.0 update will include the new Rank X, which will be granted to anyone who has reached S+10 following the update. X players will battle for X Power points, with top rankings in each Ranked mode being highlighted in Splatnet 2 and relegation to S+9 happening on the last day of the month beginning May 31.

Firewatch Developer Campo Santo Acquired By Valve Switch

At least for now, it's business as usual.

The developers of Firewatch now have a new home.

Originally reported by Kotaku, Campo Santo have confirmed that they have sold the company to Steam administrators Valve. Specific financial terms have not been disclosed, and although Campo Santo will relocate to Seattle from their current San Francisco home the team will remain together rather than being absorbed by Valve.

Night Trap Finally Comes To Switch, Limited Run Games Physical Release Included Switch

One of the most infamous games in history is coming to a Nintendo platform after more than a quarter century.

Night Trap, the Sega CD full motion video game, has been tabbed for a Switch release "soon". A physical version has been announced for release by Limited Run Games according to the latest issue of Nintendo Force magazine.

Runbow Switch Release Moved Back For Further Polish Switch

Runbow for Switch is slowing down a bit to get more polish.

Originally slated to release Tuesday (April 24), the game will be delayed for "a matter of weeks" according to physical publisher Headup Games. Both the retail and eShop versions will be affected, as well as a planned PlayStation 4 version.

NBA Playgrounds 2 Tipping Off In 2018 Switch

Saber Interactive has announced NBA Playgrounds 2 will release this year. New to the 2-on-2 basketball game for 2018 are online ranked leagues for solo and co-op play, new courts, and a full season mode.

Dark Souls Remastered, Solaire Amiibo Delayed Switch

Bandai Namco has announced that the RPG remaster has been delayed to "summer", from a previous release date of May 25. The limited edition Solaire Amiibo has also been pushed back.

A PC hit tunes into the Switch.

A cerebral rhythm title will serve as the second release from Bedtime Digital.

The developers of Wii U title Back to Bed will launch their second title Figment on Switch May 31. The game launched on PC last year and has already won several awards for its music and art style.

Figment is set in the recesses of the human mind, and sees the expression of human courage Dusty seek to free the mind from an encroaching threat of nightmares.

Valkyria Chronicles And More Sega Ages Titles Announced Switch

Some grand strategy awaits the Switch.

The Sega fan festival which saw the launch of the Sega Ages line added a couple of additional titles as it wrapped up earlier today.

Sega Ages will include Gain Ground and Alex Kidd In Miracle World among its first releases. An original arcade title, Alex Kidd was later a key game for the Sega Master System and was chosen due to high Virtual Console sales in Europe. Strategy title Gain Ground will include vertical Switch screen support.

Sega Ages Bringing Classics To Switch Beginning In Summer 2018 Switch

Sega is bringing some of their classic titles to Switch beginning this summer.

At Sega FES 2018 in Tokyo, Sega confirmed that they would bring their 'Sega Ages' label to the Switch eShop worldwide. More than 15 titles will be in the line, which will include Sonic the Hedgehog, Phantasy Star, and Thunder Force IV.

No word on the first two yet.

Although no solid dates are available for the first two Banner Saga titles on Switch, we know when the fight will end.

Banner Saga 3 will release on Switch on July 24. The RPG trilogy's final chapter will support save transfer from the first two games in the series.

Switch pricing has not been revealed for 3, though the lowest priced option on PC will be US$24.99.

Manticore: Galaxy On Fire Blasting Into eShop Next Week Switch

After a false start, Deep Silver's ready for launch.

An eShop title held just before launch due to Switch firmware is now ready to fire.

Manticore: Galaxy on Fire was originally slated to release in March, but the game will instead release on April 19. The retail price for the title is $19.99 or equivalent.

Graphical issues caused by the 5.0 firmware for the Switch had to be resolved before the game could launch. The launching version for the game will be 1.02.

Graceful Explosion Machine Nears Sales Milestone; Developer Working On New Switch Game Switch

Not bad for a little shooter.

The Graceful Explosion Machine is humming right along.

VertexPop announced today that the Atari-inspired shooter has sold just under 50,000 copies since launching approximately a year ago on Switch. To celebrate, the game is on sale now for 50% off until April 19.

The developer has also confirmed they are working on a new action title for Switch. The game promises to be "colorful" and will release in 2019.
