Nintendo will also release a new drawing tool for Miiverse users this summer.

A new Art Academy title inspired by Miiverse artists is currently in development for the Wii U.

While the game itself is still in development, Nintendo will release a drawing tool for the Wii U this summer that will utilize some tools from the full game. 

The new drawing tool will allow users to draw using pencils, colored pencils, and pastels. Players will then be able to post their drawings directly to Miiverse.

Plan on getting healthy in the cold.

Wii Fit U will be seeing a release this winter.

No specific date was announced, but Nintendo is taking the extra time to offer the best experience possible. 

Wii Fit U is the sequel to Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus, and it offers players a way to exercise using the Wii U. The game was originally shown at the  during E3 2011.

Wii Party U has been delayed to the end of this year, and new details were announced during Nintendo Direct.

Wii Party U will feature two types of games: board games and party games. The title will offer unique controls utilizing the Wii U GamePad, and will also have GamePad-only games called Tabletop games. 

The series' latest instalment races onto Wii U next spring.

Update: Mario Kart 8 will also feature Mario Kart TV, which lets players submit videos from within the game to Miiverse. Other features include 12-player online play and smooth 60 frames-per-second gameplay.

Super Mario 3D World for Wii U has been announced as the next major Mario game.

The game is inspired in its design by the Nintendo 3DS game, Super Mario 3D Land. The game features Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad as being playable within the game. Based on the video shown during the E3 Nintendo Direct, the game features cooperative multiplayer for up to four players.

Get ready for some 3D Pokémon in mid October, worldwide. 

Nintendo revealed at the Nintendo Direct event this morning that Pokemon X and Y is set for a worldwide release on October 12. The game features a new Pokémon kind of Pokémon: Fairy type. This new type of creature is strong against Dragon typed Pokémon.

Clear out that living room and get ready to dance!

Just Dance 2014 will be coming to Wii U and Wii this holiday season. Highlights from the trailer shown during Ubisoft's E3 press conference includes several modes such as six player dance, Own the Spotlight, Just Dance DJ, and a Party Master mode that makes use of the Wii U GamePad.

While it wasn't specified, it will most likely also be launching on the Wii. Watch the trailer below.

Wii U gets kicked aside. 

FIFA 14 is coming to the Wii and 3DS.

Announced in a press release, not much is known about these versions, with the EA press conference focus being on the PS4 and Xbox One versions.

No Wii U version was announced, though EA had previously said they are focusing on PS4 and Xbox One.

Twitter better watch out!

The ability to add photo attachments to Miiverse posts is still in testing, according to an announcement posted on Miiverse itself.

Hopefully this option will be available soon along with the promised smart phone and 3DS versions of Miiverse, allowing more people to connect through Nintendo's social network. With any luck, we will hear more at E3.

Best Buy is joining GameStop in returning their new stock of Wii U Basic units.

A member of our community recently sent in an internal Best Buy document stating that the store "should pull all new in box units and send them back," under a section saying that they are "to be returned via Sendback."

Capcom has released two new trailers for the upcoming DuckTales: Remastered, which is set to release on the Wii U eShop this Summer.

The trailers highlight the remastered versions of both the Transylvania and Amazon levels, narrated by our good pal Launchpad. These trailers show the lush artwork by developer WayForward, as well as (if you listen closely) a preview of the remastered music. Check them both out below!

Making the demon-filled world a friendlier place!

The upcoming Shin Megami Tensei IV, coming to 3DS July 16, will have free DLC available to aid new players.

The Platinum Surcoat will boost early game stats, and players will be able to change their avatar's look with three new hairstyles.

Also at launch will be a $2 map pack suitable to help new players gain experience and collect demons exclusive to the map pack.

Capcom turns Hunk into a woman who fears pants.

This week, Capcom is bringing two downloadable characters, Lady Hunk and Rachel Ooze, to Resident Evil: Revelations Raid Mode on Wii U for $2.99 each.

Lady Hunk is a female version of the Resident Evil character Hunk sporting hot pants, and Rachel Ooze is a t-Abyss virus infected version of Rachel.

Am I the only one hoping for more Navi!?

In an interview with Edge magazine, Aonuma spoke about both the unnanounced Wii U Zelda game and the upcoming Link to the Past 2.

Aonuma stated that Link to the Past 2 would "play very differently to the original," and went on to say that they will "introduce even more unexpected elements in the Zelda game [they're] making for Wii U."

Other platforms still on track.

Capcom has recently listed the release date of the Wii U version of their upcoming Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara as pending, going against earlier statements (as well as Nintendo's own site) that it would be released June 18.
