It's back on like Donkey Kong.
Precursor Games has relaunched their Kickstarter campaign for Shadow of the Eternals, with a goal of $750,000. This is after Precursor Games halted their crowdfunding campaign just last month.
It has also been announced that David Hayter will be providing the voice for Paul Becker in the game, and there is an added stretch goal to bring the game to the Playstation 4.

Kadokawa Games' president gives the much requested update to the fans.
Prope's Rodea the Sky Soldier is still coming to the Wii and Nintendo 3DS. This was announced by Kadokawa's company president Yoshimi Yasuda in an interview with 4gamer.

Indie developers outside of Japan can still apply.
Indie developers based in Japan cannot apply to develop applications for the Wii U at this time.
Despite the growing industry support for indie developers across the board, a Nintendo form on the GDC (Game Developers Conference) 2013 website states, in English and Japanese, that Nintendo is currently not accepting applications from Japanese indie developers.

Blastin' viruses and eggplant wizards.
Sometimes after I've drifted off to sleep at night I dream of a world where every Nintendo Downloads can be like last week. Weeks filled with Earthbound and Link to the Past releases flooding the Virtual Console, and indie developers frolicking in the beautiful meadow that is the eShop. So, until that day, we'll have to be okay with light weeks in-between the big releases. Hey, at least Chain Blaster looks pretty cool!

Nintendo is thinking about planting some more Pikmin level seeds.
In a recent interview with Nintendo President Satoru Iwata and Shigeru Miyamoto it was stated that the Pikmin team is considering creating more content for the game.
Miyamoto was the one to touch on the subject saying, "So, using the internet [the team] thinks it'd like to add new missions and maps to the game little by little." There were no details released in regards to a timeframe or price.

Fans can get a taste of Japanese thug life a few weeks before the official release.
A demo for Ryū ga Gotoku 1&2 HD for Wii U, better known as Yakuza 1&2 in the West, is available on the eShop in Japan today, July 24. The game, announced at a Nintendo Direct this past May, is an HD version of the two Yakuza titles originally released on the Playstation 2. The Yakuza 1&2 HD remake was released last November on the Playstation 3 in Japan.

Western sales spur increase in share prices.
Nintendo Co. stock price increased four percent hitting 14,050 yen, the highest price since June of 2011.
North American sales of the 3DS, and titles including Animal Crossing: New Leaf, led to the increase. Other factors play into the rise of share prices include reports indicating China may get rid of its ban on game systems.

A black 3DS XL model will be coming to Canada this weekend, according to an ad sent to Go Nintendo. The ad lists the black 3DS at $179.97 and will be available on July 26.
The black 3DS XL model was recently released in the UK as part of the Monster Hunter 3 bundle. Currently available colors (excluding special editions) are: blue/black, red/black and pink/white.

The Pokémon developers are set to show us all how card games and horse racing mix together nicely.

Add enough money to your North America Wii U eShop account by July 28 and receive $5 or $10 eShop credit.
Monday Nintendo distributed a Wii U promotional newsletter that advertised up to a $10 eShop credit for Wii U owners that add enough funds to their Wii U eShop account before the deadline.

A spokesperson from Black Forest Games has said that Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams will likely release on the Wii U eShop next month, as long as the approval process goes smoothly.
The game is a sequel to Giana Sisters DS, and was originally funded on Kickstarter last year. The first game in the franchise, The Great Giana Sisters, a Super Mario Bros. clone, was released in 1987 on the Commodore 64.

Number one everywhere, but no idea on the actual sales.
European Wii U users have jumped on the chance to download EarthBound in its opening weekend if the ''recent best seller'' list on the Nintendo eShop is to be believed.
Among the confirmed places where EarthBound is in the top spot on the best sellers list are the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and Portugal. In all locations, the title currently stands on the number one spot.

Don't feel like you're missing out by not going to Comic-Con? Now you will.
Capcom-Unity has posted a video showing almost 30 minutes of DuckTales: Remastered gameplay in the Himalayas level.
The video shows off some new features such as forgiving spawn points and a plane-to-plane combat sequence. The game is currently set to release on the Wii U eShop August 15. Check out the video below.

Fingers crossed for Pokémon X Monster Hunter!
Game Freak, developer of the Pokémon games, has teased a new collaboration on their website.
The website shows the silhouette of a creature and the words "coming soon." The words surrounding the silhouette, when put together, roughly translate to: “That popular game that is played around the world, will be reborn in a surprising collaboration!”

The HD TV revolution took the Big N by surprise.
Miyamoto "wanted to go HD sooner," according to a recent interview with 4Gamer translated by KameDaniRyuu.
His reasoning behind holding off on making the Wii HD was that Nintendo thought "it was going to take some time for HD televisions to become common," but that "HD became more common about 2 to 3 years earlier than we had anticipated."

Batman will also sport some sweet new skins.
Long time Batman villain Copperhead will join previously revealed assassins Deathstroke, Deadshot, and Bane during the hunt for Batman in this years Batman: Arkham Origins.
Revealed by WB Games today, Copperhead will show up not as the familiar male antagonist in a snake suit that has been around since late 60's, but rather as a quick and agile female. A female Copperhead was also recently introduced in DC's New 52.

Will these ever exist and come to Wii U?
Namco Bandai has filed for three different "Tales of" trademarks in Japan, according to the website, Hachima Kiko.
The three trademarks, Tales of Zestoria, Tales of Creales and Tales of Catastora all represent possible new entries in the Tales series. The last entry in the series to show up on a Nintendo platform was the 3DS remake of Tales of the Abyss.
