Hey folks, Billy asked me to introduce myself to everyone. I'm Jonathan Metts, also known as "Jonnyboy117" at various chat rooms and message boards, and I'm the newest addition to our happy little big Planet N2000 staff. My official job title is Staff Writer, which means I'll probably be doing a little of everything...

Some of you may know me from my previous website, The Nformant, which I ran by myself for about eighteen months prior to joining the Planet staff. (In case you're wondering, a friend of mine is in charge of it now.) I started the Nformant from scratch one weekend and eventually built it up be one of the most influential grassroots fansites on the web...though I did have a lot of help from the readers. ;-)

A little background info on myself: I'm 18 years old and attending Auburn University. I've been a Nintendo fanatic since the NES days, and my fave genres tend to be RPG, adventure, and action games. I met Billy and Steven this past May at Saffire's E3 party, and immediately I could tell that they were real pros. I knew something was up when Steven and I had almost the exact same questions ready for Les, heh. Well anyway, we've kept in touch since then, and whaddya know, here I am on the staff four months later. I'm majorly excited to be on the cutting edge of next-gen Nintendo coverage. Hold on tight...it's gonna be an awesome ride!
