Following last week’s Pika-fest, another major Nintendo franchise takes the lead this week as The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD launches tonight at midnight (Eastern). Though the physical version does come with the amiibo, it shouldn’t take long for that part to come to other shops so you can have the huge dungeon. If you’re looking for something simpler, may we suggest the farming life with the North American title that wouldn’t work on Wheel of Fortune: Return to Popolocrois A Story of Seasons Fairytale. The biggest downloadable release for the eShop this week comes in the form of Chasing Dead, a violent first-person shooter with a decent pricetag for a shooter with no multiplayer. The Virtual Console for North America adds Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures to the lineup.

Europe has Twilight Princess, Chasing Dead and a very brief respite from the flood of RPGs so you have time to play them. Perhaps the release of the week is Advance Wars: Dual Strike, which has its most notable feature (play-by-mail) play lost at the hands of Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection’s passing (RIP).

But of course, this is a Nintendo Direct day, and there’s already one possible release rumored. Will that be all that gets added? Keep it locked here to find out.
