We put Bowie on the case of batting at this big Dutch Nintendo Direct rumor.
Woke up to quite a surprise this afternoon when I sauntered over to the food dish. Apparently Dutch site N1ntendo.nl uncovered a whopper of a treat with a hot Nintendo Direct scoop. My feline senses tingled at the prospect of leaks, and I did what I do best: I threw up my breakfast. After that, I did some digging, though.
I had said there was trouble afoot with Fox McCloud and friends (still no cats in that game...) a while ago, and while I stand by that like the bird I left on my master's bed, it seems like, if this leak is correct, Star Fox Zero is indeed coming out in April. It's also getting a "First Print Edition" that will include something. We don't know yet. It's all vague, which makes it somewhat easy to doubt. I found myself nodding in agreement with this, though, because I caught a whiff of news about a "First Print Edition" of Star Fox Zero before. So maybe this is right? Maybe it's not?
A few of my reliable sources/catnip dealers all sang the same warbly tune with these rumors, though. The N1ntendo.nl rumor is not the first place I heard about Super Nintendo games on New 3DS, Monster Hunter Generations, Lost Reavers, or that Metroid Prime: Federation Force isn't the next form of the Loch Ness Monster. I have a strong feeling we will see more than what is mentioned here in tomrrow's Nintendo Direct, but this leak passes the cursory sniff test, especially since other kittens echo the announcements. Doesn't make it ironclad, but maybe it's like 80-90% likely? Something like that.
But really? Fire Emblem in Monster Hunter? The potential for Super Mario RPG on the go? This is exciting. I'm going to go take a cat nap before more stuff leaks.
