DS Game of Show: Ghost Trick Phantom Detective

Ghost Trick is an impressive title with a brand new concept. Combining a compelling narrative with action sequences, your objective is to change the fate of a person who is about to be killed by a mysterious assassin. As a victim himself, Sissel learns about the world of the dead as he inhabits objects and moves them in the living world to create chain reactions that change history. While the subject matter seems dark, it looks at things in a light way while gradually revealing Sissel's back story. The comic-like graphical style gives it character.
Honorable mentions:
Golden Sun's short demo showed off improved graphics that impressed us all. Touch screen controls are present in this edition, along with the return of everything we love about the series.
Monster Tale is a non-linear, exploration-based action game in which the main character, Ellie, is aided by her customizable pet monster, Chomp. If you're not tweaked yet, try this phrase: from the makers of Henry Hatsworth.
It may be less flashy than the Wii version, but Sonic Colors looks sharp and plays sharper on DS. It even felt better than Sonic 4 at E3. Fans of Sonic Rush should feel comfortable with this one, and the greater level of aerial control will appeal to Sonic's non-fans.
