Welcome to the second annual Louie Awards! We're honoring the best of 2002 and humiliating the worst.

The voting procedures were as follows: each staff member gets one vote per category. The recipient of the most votes is the winner, while the runner up is the one that got the second-most votes; not all categories have a runner up. Billy only voted in the case of a tie. (We didn't want to repeat the anti-climactic E3 2002 awards incident.)

A few categories have been left out because none of their nominees received more than one vote, i.e. the votes were spread over a wide range of games. In these cases, we chose to throw the category out rather than have Billy break an eight-way tie or something equally silly.
