Another Rune Factory game is on the way.
Rune Factory 4 is releasing on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on July 19, according to the recent Nintendo Direct presentation.
Rune Factory 4 was previously revealed at the last Nintendo Direct event. Today the release date for the game was finally revealed. Nintendo also revealed that in this iteration of the Rune Factory series, players will be able to sell items to people around the town.

North America already has the game, and the Japanese wait isn't much longer.
3D Classic Kirby's Adventure is releasing on the Japanese eShop on April 25, according to Nintendo at their latest Nintendo Direct presentation.
3D Classic Kirby's Adventure released in North America last year. The Japanese version of this game is finally on the way. You can read a review of 3D Classic Kirby's Adventure here.

Little Battler eXperience Explosive Boost is coming to the 3DS on July 5 in Japan.
The latest addition to Level 5’s Little Battlers series, Little Battler eXperience Explosive Boost, is coming to the 3DS on July 5 in Japan.
Explosive Boost is a port of the PSP title, Little Battler eXperience Boost; yet, it includes additional LBX units from the anime, as well as a new interface, touch controls, and six player wireless multiplayer.

The massive game collaboration between Sega, Capcom and Namco Bandai will see release this year.
Project X Zone, the crossover tactical RPG by Sega, Capcom and Namco Bandai, will be released in 2012, today's Nintendo Direct event confirmed.

Finally, it gets a release date. Also, it'll have all sorts of 3D and wireless goodness.
Animal Crossing for 3DS, known in Japan as Tobidase Doubutsu no Mori (Pop Out! Animal Crossing), is coming out this fall in Japan, according to today's Nintendo Direct presentation.
The game's title offers a hint about the gameplay, as Tobidase means "jump out," which refers to the stereoscopic 3D graphics and the game's wireless functions.

The new 3DS game even has co-op play.
Culdcept for the Nintendo 3DS is releasing on June 28 in Japan, according to Nintendo at the recent Nintendo Direct event.
Culdcept was previously shown off at the last Nintendo Direct event. Developed by Omiya Soft, Culdcept will feature local single-card download play. In this mode of the game, the two players will cooperatively work against a CPU.

The next entry in the Etrian Odyssey series is on its way.
Etrian Odyssey IV will launch in Japan on July 5, according to Nintendo at the recent Nintendo Direct event.
Etrian Odyssey IV was announced at the previous event and was now given a solid release date. Accompanying the announcement of the games release date, Nintendo has said that a demo will be available at some time following the conclusion of the Nintendo Direct broadcast.

Baby Peach and a Luma will be joining the fray.
16 characters and Mii accessories have been announced for Mario Tennis Open by Nintendo President Satoru Iwata.
Of the 16 characters, both Luma and Baby Peach have been announced as playable. In addition, the previously announced Mii's will have over 200 accessories available, such as rackets and clothing. These accessories affect attributes, like spin and speed.

Nintendo Direct revealed the release date of this dancing game.
Just Dance Wii 2 is releasing throughout Japan on the Nintendo Wii during July, according to the latest Nintendo Direct video.
This version of Just Dance is the Japanese version of the North American game Just Dance 3. Instead of simply localizing the game, Iwata pointed out that Nintendo updates the game to be more appropriate to Japanese culture.

Organize your 3DS menu and patch your games!
Nintendo will add the ability to patch games and put your applications into folders in a 3DS firmware update on April 25.
The first game to use the patching ability will be Mario Kart 7, which will correct the glitches such as the infamous Maka Wuhu shortcut. Other games receiving updates are Kingdom Hearts 3D (in Japan), Love Plus (in Japan), and Kid Icarus: Uprising.

A true sequel to 2006's 2D revival game is coming, sooner than you think!
New Super Mario Bros. 2 is coming to 3DS in North America, Europe, and Japan in August, Satoru Iwata revealed during Nintendo Direct today. Nintendo of America confirmed the North American release on Twitter shortly after. Nintendo of Europe confirmed it during their own Nintendo Direct the several hours later.

UPDATE: Confirmed for Europe. Fans can now view both new creatures and old in 3D.
Pokémon Zenkoku Zukan Pro, an update to Pokémon Pokédex 3D, was revealed during Nintendo Direct by Nintendo President Satoru Iwata. Nintendo of Europe's Satoru Shibata confirmed the game's existence in Europe during their Nintendo Direct.
The application, which will release prior to Pokémon Black and White 2, will feature both new Pokémon from the upcoming games as well as older Pokémon from previous generations.

Nintendo serves up another ace!
Nintendo Australia has announced that Mario Tennis Open will be launching in Australia and New Zealand for the Nintendo 3DS on May 24, 2012.
Mario Tennis Open includes some new modes and features on top of the regular tennis action. One of the new modes is called Super Mario Tennis, which puts a tennis drilling twist on the classic Super Mario Bros.
