Shuffle on with this new puzzler coming February!
A new free to play Pokémon title will be coming next month for 3DS.
Titled Pokémon Shuffle, the game seems to be similar to the Pokémon Trozei series except that the number of moves a player can make is limited. Players will match 3 Pokémon together, Pokémon have the ability to Mega Evolve during gameplay while also dealing damage to other Pokémon.

The next entry in the storied strategy series is on the way.
The next entry in the Fire Emblem series was announced today in this morning's Nintendo Direct.
Simply billed as "The Latest Entry in the Fire Emblem Series", it was revealed that Intellegent Systems will be developing the title. Kozaki Yuskue will be back from Fire Emblem: Awakening to head the character design while Shin Kibiyashi will handle the story.

New does not stand for "Nearly Educated Wario".
A release date of February 13 for the New Nintendo 3DS XL is likely according to leaked promotional materials from GameStop.
The poster revealed that the New 3DS XL system would be launching alongside two big game releases, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, the latter of which is officially confirmed to support the C Stick.

UPDATE: An European version has also been announced!
Nintendo has just confirmed that their next Direct will air this Wednesday, January 14.
The event is scheduled to start in North America at 6 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. ET and in Japan at 11 p.m. (JST). The event will cover upcoming Nintendo 3DS and Wii U titles for this spring.

GungHo doesn't back away from its original plan.

CoroCoro leak reveals new movie and distribution event details.
New images and details from CoroCoro magazine on the next major Pokémon film have been leaked through the Anime News Network.
The newly announced psychic ghost Pokémon Hoopa will make its first appearance in the film, titled Ring no Chōmajin Hoopa (The Ring Genie Hoopa). The film will be released in Japan this summer.

The popular mobile game is getting a Mario skin and release on 3DS.
GungHo Online Entertainment has announced that its popular Puzzle & Dragons title is getting a Super Mario Bros. version.
The game, formally dubbed Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition, will release on 3DS in Japan on April 29 and be priced at 4000 yen. It features a world map inspired by the New Super Mario Bros. series and retains the tried-and-true Puzzle & Dragons gameplay, just with Mario characters.

The silly little elf almost got his time in the spotlight.... Almost.
Tingle, the odd little elf who has appeared in a number of Zelda games, was considered for inclusion in Hyrule Warriors as a playable character.

A new Zelda statue based on Ganondorf from The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker has been teased by high-end figure manufacture First 4 Figures.
The statue is set to be put for up for pre-order sometime in 2015 and marks the first collectable that First 4 Figures has manufactured based on the Wind Waker game. Further details are not yet available at this time.

Hyrule Warriors' pre-order incentive costume packs are now available for purchase via the Wii U eShop.
A total of four packs are up on Nintendo's online store, three of which include costumes for both Link and Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword. The fourth pack, dubbed Demon King, provides an alternate skin for Ganondorf.
