A late 2018 game from Ubisoft.
Late next year, the Switch will feature a space exploration game with toys to life elements.
Ubisoft announced Starlink: Battle of Atlas for a fall 2018 release on Switch, as well as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game appears to feature figures that clip onto the Joy-Con grip to expand the arsenal of ships. The producer from Ubisoft's Toronto branch indicated that the items would be available "virtually" as well.

The second three Nintendo platform game ever.
Just Dance 2018 will join its predecessor as a rare three platform game.
The company announces that like last year's title, Just Dance 2018 would release for Switch, Wii U and Wii. All three versions will release simultaneously in October of this year.

The Switch's worst kept secret is finally official, as Ubisoft has unveiled Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.
Due to release on August 29, the strategy RPG sees Mario-themed Rabbids teleported to the Mushroom Kingdom, which made it unstable. The game was confirmed to be in development for three years. The soundtrack was also confirmed to be created by former Rare composer Grant Kirkhope.

Open world games with Link are a thing now.
A new trailer for Skyrim on Switch has aired as part of Bethesda's E3 press conference, confirming two new features for the Switch port.
The Link Amiibo for Breath of the Wild was shown to work with Skyrim, allowing players to explore the world as LInk. In addition, it appears that motion controls with the Joy-Cons will be supported in the new port.

A Nintendo-related announcement during the Xbox conference.
Minecraft on consoles is about to become even more open.
During the Microsoft E3 press conference, the company announced an update to Minecraft this summer that would enable cross-platform play between consoles, including the Switch version. Player-created servers will also be a part of the update.

Thanks to EA, E3 2017 more or less starts today. However, most likely, if you're here for Nintendo goodness, the show won't start in earnest until Tuesday June 13 when Nintendo's E3 Spotlight starts at 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT. With that in mind, we've got some plans for E3 2017, though be warned: a lot of it could change depending on what Nintendo reveals.

One of the big moneymakers in modern sports will be on the Switch
After a press and influencer event today to kick off the 2017 EA Play event, EA has released new details on FIFA 18 for Switch.
The game's website has launched with details on the modes, which include a career mode (non-cinematic), Local Seasons, and FIFA Ultimate Team. Split Joy-Con control support will also be available, as well as multiplayer with a single set of Joy-Cons.

A lot of remakes coming out of France today.
Ahead of E3, several independent developers have announced details about Switch independent titles to release in the coming months.
Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas will be the first to launch, making land on the Switch June 22. Heavily inspired by Wind Waker and already appearing on Sony systems and PC, the Switch version promises full resolution (1080p) docked and a high framerate.

A last-minute GoNNER delay means that this week's big Switch title is familiar to Wii U owners - ergo, it's brand new. Shantae: Half-Genie Hero makes a quick move up, bringing the bouncy platformer action back to the realm of Nintendo systems capable of portable play. Matt reviewed the Wii U version and noted series fan Zach also discussed the game earlier this year.

So everyone can stay fresh.
The Splatoon 2 badged Pro Controller for Switch that was announced at the end of the ARMS Direct will be a worldwide phenomenon.
Nintendo of America has tweeted confirmation that the green and pink-handled Pro Controller will launch on July 21, alongside Splatoon 2. No word has been given yet on the release of the special Joy-Con controllers or the Switch system bundle announced at that time.

Switch will not be bitten by the cold.
EA's first console game for Nintendo in over four years will be launching at the end of September.
FIFA 18 has been confirmed as the final title for the Switch version of the game, which will release on September 29 worldwide. The Switch version was not included on platforms that use the EA Frostbite engine for the game, and will not include "The Journey", a special story mode.

Pokémon isn't waiting for E3 to bust out the major announcements.
A Pokémon Direct will air tomorrow at 10 am Eastern / 7 am Pacific / 1600 CEST. The video will be 8 minutes long, and promises "Pokémon news". Previous Pokémon Directs have included the announcements for Pokemon Sun and Moon as well as X and Y.
