LEGO The Hobbit is coming to the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

This new LEGO title will be based off the first two Hobbit movies; The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. They are of course based off of the J.R.R. Tolkien book The Hobbit. Like other LEGO games it will feature many playable characters from the series including Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf the Grey and all of the dwarves.

Time to make some more wall space.

Three posters for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds are now available on Club Nintendo for 500 coins and feature new artwork for the game.

The prints depict the game package’s artwork, living paintings of characters, and Link looking over Hyrule and Lorule’s vistas. Each poster has the dimensions of 22” by 28” and will ship in a poster tube.

Get ready to sail the Grand Line in February!

One Piece: Romance Dawn will be available in North America on February 11, 2014.

One Piece: Romance Dawn will be sold both digitally and physically. The digital copies will be sold through the Nintendo 3DS eShop. The physical copies will be sold exclusively through GameStop, Club Namco and EB Games. The physical copies will feature a limited edition holographic foil packaging and will be individually numbered.

Slowly the Wii U becomes more and more stable.

Nintendo has released a new Wii U firmware update for the Wii U, bringing the version number for the system up to 4.0.2.

The update is only a small one, adding further improvements to the overall system stability and some other minor changes that will enhance the user experience.

Looks like the sales numbers mega evolved!

Nintendo Australia has revealed that the first weekend sales for Pokémon X and Pokémon Y exceeded 100,000 units combined.

The titles have beaten all previous records for Nintendo games sold in Australia and New Zealand. For reference, Pokémon Black and White sold through 80,000 units in their first full week, X and Y beat this on the first day.

The DLC item doesn't escape this side of the world.

The European version of Bravely Default: Where the Fairy Flies features the previously mentioned SP Drink. We can confirm this after toying around with our copy today.

The SP Drink will allow players to instantly regain points so that you can more freely attack and use the Bravely Second feature. With Bravely Second, you can attack at any given moment which gives you an edge over the competition.

An all-new stage with all-new tactics! 

A new Super Mario Galaxy stage is coming to the next Super Smash Bros. for Wii U when it comes out in 2014.

This information comes from the official Super Smash Bros. site showing off the brand-new stage. Sakurai also commented "The pull of gravity emanates from the center of the planet,  so this will require brand new tactics."

One of the next big releases from Nintendo is not software.

Nintendo is releasing a new Mahjong set in Japan on November 29. The set, which retails for 18,900 yen (about $190 USD), features minimal markings from the the company with subtle Nintendo logos on the chips and a special turtle mark that was used on the company's older products. Optionally, interested parties can also purchase a mat for 5,250 yen (about $53 USD). 

Nintendo is set to kick off 2014 with the adorable pink puffball invading your 3DS.

Hoshi no Kirby: Triple Deluxe, better known as simply Kirby: Triple Deluxe in the West, is coming to the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on January 11. Gamers in Japan can now get their survival horror on for a cheaper price.

Two popular titles in Japan, Tongaribōshi to Mahō no Machi and Biohazard: Revelations (Resident Evil: Revelations), are on sale on the Nintendo 3DS eShop in Japan starting today.

Tongaribōshi to Mahō no Mach is temporarily dropping from 4,980 yen to 2,940 yen and Biohazard: Revelations is going from 5,300 yen to 2,990 yen. The sale will continue for a little over a week and will end on November 21 at midnight.
