NES Remix, a new downloadable eShop game, is now available on Wii U in North America and Europe.
The game features several NES games remixed to include new challenges as well as challenges featuring other NES characters, presented in a rapid-fire format similar to WarioWare. The stages themselves are pulled directly from their original games, and presented in new ways.

The Year of Luigi continues on with a new eShop game.
Dr. Luigi, a new downloadable title from Nintendo, is coming to the Wii U eShop. Acting as a new entry in the popular Dr. Mario puzzle series, Dr. Luigi will have many challenges to complete as well as online multiplayer.
The game uses L shaped capsules and is being made easier for newcomers, though the challenge level can be changed for more experienced players. The game will also be playable using just the Wii U GamePad.

Wii Sports Club: Golf will be available today for Wii U.
The game has the added ability to use the GamePad as a second screen showing the ball on the ground while swinging, similar to the golf tech demo shown for the system in the past.

Sonic leaves his world behind for the land of the lovable green dinosaur.
New downloadable content for Sonic Lost World based on Yoshi's Island is available now as a free download from the Wii U eShop.
The Yoshi's Island Zone DLC places Sonic in a new stage featuring an aesthetic similar to past Yoshi games, as well as new mechanics, such as the ability to collect eggs, and familiar enemies like Shy Guys.

Kirby Fighters will be a good mode to hold Smash Bros. fans over.
A brand new multiplayer mode, Kirby Fighters, has been revealed in the upcoming 3DS title, Kirby Triple Deluxe. The new mode will let up to four players pick one of 10 of Kirby's Copy Abilities and allow them to fight one another in a variety of different stages.
Kirby Triple Deluxe will be released in North America in 2014.

So safe to say Nintendo wins at handhelds.
During November, sales for the Nintendo 3DS family surpassed 10 million units.
With the releases of Super Mario 3D World and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Nintendo saw a 100 percent increase from October in sales for Nintendo hardware. Estimates say this was about 770,000 units for the 3DS and related systems, which boosted lifetime total sales to nearly 10.5 million.

Sega’s 3D classic continue to bring the heat this week with two more entries, and Nintendo saw fit to grace the Virtual Console with Double Dragon. One of the greatest SNES games is making its way to a GamePad near you.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is hitting the European eShop on the Wii U this Thursday.
Highly regarded as one of the best titles in the series, A Link to the Past introduced many elements that have come to define the series.
The game will cost €7.99 or £5.49, and there is currently no word yet on a North American release date.
