Bandai Channel is offering anime streaming to Japanese Wii U consoles.

The service gives users free, unlimited streaming of first episodes from hundreds of shows. Those who want to see more than just one episode of a series can subscribe by buying a Bandai Namco ID, which costs 1,050 yen a month.

The pickings are slim for this week's Nintendo Downloads.

Popularity proves too much for Nintendo.

The December 27 launch of the Pokémon Bank and Poké Transporter applications has officially been postponed by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company according to a support message citing high volumes of traffic on the Nintendo Network as the cause. Both applications have also been pulled from Japan’s eShop for similar reasons and no new launch date for the software has been provided as of yet.

Now can we please get some N64 games on the Wii U Virtual Console?

TurboGrafx-16 (known as PC Engine in Japan) and MSX games are getting Virtual Console releases in Japan.

The Wii U will be receiving Bonk's Adventure (TurboGrafx-16),for 600 yen and Parodius (MSX) for 800 yen. The Nintendo 3DS is set to get China Warrior and Gradius (both TurboGrafx-16 titles) for 600 yen. All of these games are being released on December 25.

Babies can drive?!?

Rosalina and the baby versions of several Mario characters will be playable in Mario Kart 8.

New footage of Mario Kart 8 was shown at today's Nintendo Direct, revealing new characters along with new tracks. The new tracks included an airport, a desert, and one that is described as "high in the clouds." Racers will drive many vehicles in this new installment, including UFOs.

Puzzle-solving and court antics are just over three months away.

Franchise crossover game Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney will launch in Europe on March 28, 2014 for Nintendo 3DS.

Early bird gets the Celebi.

Celebi will be given away to Pokémon X and Y players who use the Pokémon Bank application by September 30, 2014.

Pokémon Bank, as well as sister application Poké Transporter, release in North America on December 27.

Use real photos to help out your favorite little robot.

Chibi-Robo! Photo Finder on 3DS will feature the ability to take photos of real world objects that fit certain profiles required within the game. After finding items that are the correct shape, they can be saved in the game's museum.

The game will be releasing in North America on January 9, and a free eShop demo will be made available at the same time.
