The hunt gets the full HD experience in both sound and visuals.
Monster Hunter 3 (tri) G HD Ver., known as Monster Hunter Ultimate in the West, will support full HD visuals running at 1080p on the Wii U. Not only that, but the Wii U version will also utilize Linear PCM 5.1 for sound as well. Players will be able to make use of both of these features using the included HDMI cable included with their Wii U purchase as long as they have the appropriate television and speakers.

Get ready to be under the sea and stuff.
Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion will journey to the world of Little Mermaid in its third world, Disney revealed at a press event in Disneyland earlier this week.
The first two worlds of the game are based on Peter Pan and Aladdin, and the third world is the final one, featuring a climatic battle with Mizrabel in a Maleficent disguise. The world's levels are primarily underwater, with currents pushing Mickey along.

Mutant Mudds' free content update, featuring 20 new levels, will go live on October 25 in North America, and October 18 in Europe, according to Renegade Kid's Jools Watsham. The new levels put the player in control of Grannie, the grandmother of the game's protagonist.

Time to respect your elders with 20 free levels.
Jools Watsham, co-founder of Renegade Kid, tweeted that he'll soon be made aware of when Mutant Mudds' free content update will be released.
The update contains 20 stages wherein you take control of Grannie, having access to all the game's power-ups at once. These levels are included in the PC port of the eShop game.

Hunting monsters in NYC has never been so exciting.
Capcom has announced that a playable version of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will be playable at this weekend's New York Comic Con.
A room has been reserved for players to come in and play a bit of the game. This will be the first time the game will be playable in North America. The game will be playable on both the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.

A trifecta of awesome games are coming to the 3DS Virtual Console next week in Japan.

Nintendo is pulling out all the stops with playable demos, tournaments and more.
Nintendo announced their New York Comic Con 2012 plans, featuring an array of Wii U and 3DS titles, along with other special events. From October 11 through October 14, attendees will have the opportunity to play various game demos, as well as participate in multiple activities and tournaments at the Javits Center.

Neko Entertainment's digital title, Puddle, is making its way to the Wii U eShop. The first third party digital title will be delivered in a unique way to gamers in Japan.
The packaged retail version of the upcoming Japanese idol simulator for the Nintendo 3DS, AKB48+Me, will also include a digital version of the game, Kadokawa Games revealed. This marks the first third party title to offer a digital 3DS game, and the first time that the digital version is included with the packaged release.

An award-winning composer is providing a "visceral hybrid action score" for the Wii U launch game.
Renowned video game composer, Cris Velasco, is scoring the soundtrack for Wii U launch title, ZombiU.
