Play your games across 3DS and Wii U!
Nintendo confirmed that it will support more titles with cross-platform functionality, according to VG247.
After verifying that the upcoming game Pure Chess will be cross-platform compatible, contingent upon Sony’s agreement, Nintendo went on to reveal that other titles will share this feature.

A fix is on the way, but for now, players are advised to check Nintendo's guide to bypass this glitch.
Nintendo has acknowledged that there is a save data corruption bug in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y and is currently preparing a solution for it.
Many reports have appeared online since the game's worldwide launch on October 12 from players who were experiencing issues upon loading their file after saving their progress in Lumiose City. The glitch will cause the game to not respond to any control input once it has been reloaded.

Some heavy hitters from the Wii's hey-day will now be cheaper to purchase.
A selection of older Wii titles will be re-branded and reduced in price in Australia and New Zealand from November 7.
The games that will be included are, Mario Kart Wii, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Super Mario Galaxy and Wii Sports + Wii Sports Resort (2 games on 1 disc).

Formerly an iOS game, this artsy sidescroller is getting a Wii U makeover.
Paper Monsters Recut, the remake of the iOS and PC paper-craft platformer from 2012, has been announced for the Wii U eShop, coming this winter.
Under development at Mobot Studios, this reworked version of Paper Monsters will include both brand new and redesigned levels, as well as additional power-ups and enemies and enhanced HD visuals.

Two weeks of pure torture.
The Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions of Batman: Arkham Origins will not release until November 8 in the UK. The original UK launch date of October 25 for all platforms has been pushed back by two weeks for both Nintendo systems. The boxed PC release date has also been delayed, but as of now, releases for all other platforms will continue as originally planned.

The Collector's Edition for the soon-to-be released The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds has been unveiled, to be sold exclusively at UK retailer GAME.
Currently available for pre-order at £49.99, the Collector's Edition contains a copy of the game, a musical chest toy, an artwork poster and a download code for the eShop version of the Game Boy Color classic, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX.

The 3DS remains number one.
Since the price drop of the Wii U, sales have gone up over 200 percent in the United States.
Reporting 15 days of sales data, the price drop of the Wii U Deluxe Set from $349.99 to $299.99 has improved sales of the Wii U signifigantly, over 200 percent. Nintendo also credits the sales increase to The Legend of Wind Waker HD Wii U bundle.

Monster Hunter 4 gets another special edition bundle, this time with the original 3DS.
A new Monster Hunter 4 Nintendo 3DS bundle, called the Monster Hunter 4 Hunter Pack, is set to release in Japan on November 7 for 19,800 yen. The set comes with a 4 GB SDHC card, a digital version of the game and includes a sky blue 3DS with a white creature and Monster Hunter 4 logo. This is the third special edition 3DS bundle for the game, with the first two releasing on September 14 with black and white originally designed 3DS XL units.

UPDATE: The Zelda XL has been confirmed to be getting an Australian release and will hit retail on November 23.
Two new special edition 3DS XLs are coming to Europe in November with pre-orders starting now on Nintendo’s online store. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds 3DS XL will arrive in stores on November 22 and the Luigi Special Edition will be available online November 1.
