Even the purple Pikmin could not carry the weight of the Wii U launch.
Four of 2013's big Wii U releases have been delayed.
Pikmin 3 along with The Wonderful 101, Game & Wario, and Wii Fit U were all originally scheduled to be a part of Nintendo’s Wii U launch window, but now have been delayed with the release date being “first half of the year.”
According to Nintendo, more launch information will become available at a later date.

Nintendo of America unveiled their release schedule for Q1 2013, confirming release dates for LEGO City Undercover, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and numerous other titles
LEGO City Undercover is touted as the flagship release, arriving in stores on March 18. As hero cop Chase McCain, players explore the vast open world of Lego City, performing parkour-style platforming, apprehending criminals and commandeering over 100 vehicles.

The 3DS versions of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and LEGO City: Undercover also get dated.
Nintendo has revealed that finally, after multiple delays, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon will arriving in North America on March 24, 2013.

ZombiU shares the Zombi name with Ubisoft's very first game, but the relationship ends
there.
According to Guillaume Brunier, producer of ZombiU, the game was already in development before the team realized the similarities between the two titles. Brunier reaffirms that ZombiU is not a remake of Zombi, but does joke that if this erroneous connection "helps ZombiU being a
franchise, we should stop fighting for the truth!"

A more robust multiplayer mode was envisioned for ZombiU, but was scrapped in order to release on time alongside the Wii U.
Guillaume Brunier, producer of the game,

A Yoshi Cleaning Cloth is now available as a Club Nintendo reward in North America for 400 coins. The 6x6 inch polyester cloth features Yoshi and Yoshi eggs.
The Club Nintendo website mentions that there are limited quantities available; so get it while you can.

The final Operation Rainfall title will indeed be published by Xseed Games.
Pandora’s Tower will be coming to North America in the spring of 2013. Nintendo has given Xseed Games the rights to publish the Wii title in the region.
Ganbarion developed Pandora’s Tower in conjunction with Nintendo while Nintendo handled the publishing of the title in every other major region in the world.

Is Nintendo bridging the divide between the handheld and the console divisions?
Nintendo is undergoing a significant reorganization, bringing their handheld and console hardware divisions into one studio according to a report from Japanese newspaper Nikkei. This is the first major restructuring of these divisions since 2004. The new combined division will be responsible for thinking into the future, beyond Wii U and 3DS, and helping Nintendo compete in a market with the growing distribution of smartphones and tablets.

Fire Emblem fans can enjoy the upcoming 3DS game in English or Japanese.
The North American version of Fire Emblem: Awakening for the Nintendo 3DS will feature both English and Japanese voice tracks. Nintendo offered similar functionality with the release of Xenoblade Chronicles by including both languages as well.

The first Wii U eShop demo in Japan appears in the form of ZombiU.
A demo for Ubisoft’s survival horror title, ZombiU, is now available for the Wii U eShop in Japan.
The demo, which is 1.6 GB (1,652 MB), allows for up to 30 plays and features Mission 12: Find Medicine for Vikram. The demo is said to last around 20-30 minutes per play. This marks the first demo available on the Wii U eShop in Japan. A demo for ZombiU was released in North America and Europe last week.

Each individual character purchased for Disney's upcoming Disney Infinity will cost you $13, it was revealed today during the Disney Infinity event.
Disney Infinity, launching on the Wii U, Wii, and 3DS, will cost $75. This initial pack will include the game, a reader, and three characters: Sulley, Capt. Jack Sparrow, and Mr. Incredible.

We know about three of the Disney Infinity worlds so far.
Gameplay descriptions for three of the Disney Infinity worlds were given today at the Disney Infinity event.
The Incredibles playset features an alternative ending to the movie in which Syndrome attacks the city. In this mode you can play as the combat-heavy Mr. Incredible as you fight enemies and bosses. You will be able to accept missions and build up the Incredibles' headquarters throughout the game.

The long rumored game has finally shed some light on itself.
Update: The game has now officially been confirmed for the Nintendo 3DS.
Disney Infinity was officially announced for both the Wii U and Wii at today's Disney Infinity specific event.
The game, set to launch this June, will feature more than 20 playable characters, some of which include Mr. Incredible from The Incredibles, Sully from Monsters Inc., and Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean.

Not much of a wait for Ron Gilbert's latest.
The Cave will be available on the Wii U eShop January 22 for the asking price of $14.99.
Double Fine's The Cave puts you in control of three characters out of a roster of seven, all who have been drawn to a mysterious cave. Within the cavern, these characters will discover who they are, and what they will become. Ron Gilbert, known for his work on Maniac Mansion, and most recently DeathSpank, serves as director on the title.
