Think you can help us make NWR look dope and fresh?

Are you a budding web designer or artist as passionate about games as we are? Are you interested in making sure Nintendo World Report continues to be the authoritative independent Nintendo-based website for credible, honest coverage for all things Nintendo?

Awesome! Why? Because we're looking for a designer to help freshen up the look and feel of our website! Nintendo World Report has an all-volunteer staff that receives no monetary compensation for their contributions, and this position is no different. That said, you will be joining and coordinating with a passionate team of video game enthusiasts, enabling them to produce more and better gaming-related content. This position offers the chance to grow your artistic and team-building skills, and also leaves open the possibility of writing articles and covering gaming events on the side.

Here is a list of experience and skills we’re looking for:

  • Copious amounts of Photoshop/Imaging software experience
  • Website design experience
  • Website wireframing experiences
  • Logo design experience
  • Online team environment experience
  • Self-motivated
  • Deadline-oriented
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

You can reach out to the same e-mail if you want to, but any writing positions will be on the backburner for a while. Wow us and we might expedite the process, but I can tell you we're likely not considering thinking about bringing on any new writers until mid-August at the earliest.

Just throw'n it out there...

When I right click on links from the main page, I can't select, "Open in New Tab." It's as if I'm right clicking the background instead of the link. Aslo, I get a message every time a view a page that isn't the main page, "This page is accessing information that is not under its control. This poses a security risk. Do you want to continue?"

Perhaps the new design can address these issues.

It's a work PC that blocks much stuff, but NWR is the only site that experiences those specific problems.
