The next Legend of Zelda adventure will drop on 3DS this fall in Europe.
In a press release for Gamescom, the release date for Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes was confirmed as 23 October for Europe and 24 October for Australia/New Zealand. The game also has a playable demo on the Gamescom floor.

The worst kept secret on Kickstarter is finally out in the open.
Comcept will be making official the delay of Mighty No. 9 during Gamescom, according to a post on the backer forums.
As reposted at NeoGAF, the delay will be announced during the show to the general public, and will be for all platforms and distribution methods. At this time, the game is aiming for a Q1 2016 release.

Perfect timing for a horror game.
Project Zero: Maiden of the Black Water, aka Fatal Frame, has a release date and some new information for Australia and Europe.
The game will release on 30 October in Europe and 31 October in Australia, and will have a limited edition as the only version offered for sale in stores. The package will contain a double-sided poster, four "Spirit Photos", a steelbook and an art book.

Xenoblade Chronicles X will feature two bundles and a special offer for Europe.
Upon the game's 4 December release, there will be two limited edition bundles available. A game bundle that includes a steelbook, two posters (world map and cover art) and an artbook will be available for existing Wii U owners. For those who would be jumping in new, a console bundle will be available that includes the world map poster and the artbook.

We have confirmation of the rumored old school Amiibo package.
@Amiibonews on Twitter has confirmed that GameStop will be offering a 3-pack Amiibo bundle featuring Duck Hunt, Mr. Game & Watch, and R.O.B. figures. This bundle will be available in limited quantities for a $5-down minimum instead of the Web-in-Store process used for Wave 4. Doors will open early at 9:00 AM on Saturday, August 8th for pre-orders.

To celebrate their upcoming release of Rare Replay, an Xbox One collection of 30 classic games, game developer Rare is teaming up with iam8bit to release vinyl soundtracks of some of their classic games. The game soundtracks included thus far include Battletoads, Banjo-Kazooie and Perfect Dark, all three of which were originally on Nintendo consoles and are still fondly remembered by fans today.

Following the changing of release dates for Mighty No 9 to a 2016 placeholder, we have new information regarding a probable delay of the Kickstarter-backed game.
Game Informer has reported that their retail sources have confirmed publisher Deep Silver has reported the game's delay. As a reminder, Game Informer is a publication of GameStop.

Version 1.1.0 of both the 3DS and Wii U versions of Smash Bros is now live.
As previously promised, the update includes replay uploading, the oft-promised tournament mode and several new stages and Mii costumes available for purchase, plus many balance changes. Downloading the update also unlocks the KK Slider Mii costume.

The split worldview only last a short time
Some clarification has been obtained about the "two worlds" view of Dragon Quest XI where the game can be played in 16-bit style 2D or in 3D.
According to a leaked Jump magazine in Japan, the dual view will run for the early part of the game, then the option will be given to switch between the 2D and 3D modes on the fly. The dual view was shown in the game's original launch demo last week.

The indie hit will be playable in the land of its leak next week
After being leaked by the German game ratings board a few months ago, Terraria has finally been confirmed for release on 3DS and Wii U.
Published by 505 Games, the game will land in early 2016 and will feature extensive multiplayer; the 3DS version will have 4 player local play, while the Wii U will support 4 player local using Wii Remotes splitscreen and 8 player online.

Who doesn't love Nintendo merchandise?
Nintendo is rumored to be planning to sell a subscription box service off their online store in the UK.
The service will be known as "N-Box" and each box will come to customers full of random Nintendo goodies, similar to other subscription box services out there. It is said that this upcoming service will start in September and customers can buy one box, or a subscription that lasts three, six, or twelve months.

The hunting action/Final Fantasy fusion is coming into a loaded field.
Final Fantasy Explorers will hit the 3DS in January 2016.
The hunting action title, released in Japan last December, will come out in North America on January 26, with a European release to follow on 29 January. The game allows you to play as classic Final Fantasy characters and Lightning to take down large monsters and save the Grand Crystal.

The Smash Bros JP Twitter has updated with news that the Youtube uploads will also upload to Miiverse. In addition, three new Mii costumes were revealed: Honey bears (pictured below) for the Gunner, Flying Man (Earthbound series) for the Brawler and Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia as the Swordsman.

Australia and New Zealand didn't get to participate in the Nindies @ Home promotion during E3, but they'll get to do their own version starting tomorrow.
First reported by the Australian specialists at Vooks, the ANZ version of the program will run with three games each week for the next three weeks. Downloading the demos will still provide the 15% off the final product.

Zelda Wii U: Confirmed to have no release date at this time.
Nintendo has issued a supplementary statement to their 1st fiscal quarter financials which includes the traditional updated release schedule.
Although most of the games were already revealed, Project Guard is now listed as a 2016 elease while Project Giant Robot, which previously listed as 1st half of 2015, is now showing a TBA release date. This confirms that Platinum is working to turn Guard into a full game as was announced at E3.
