Will Wii U owners get to experience Watch Dogs DLC?
As of now, Ubisoft isn't saying yes or no to the potential of Watch Dogs DLC on Wii U.

Revealed together with a brand new trailer!
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker has finally been giving dates for Europe and Japan.
Europe will be able to explore with the adventurer on January 9th, while Japan gets to that sooner on November 13th. The January 9th date covers most European countries, except for Portugal and Spain, who are getting the game a week earlier on January 2nd.

Also, Armillo and Kubi join the never ending endless battle!
I've Got to Run: Complete Edition has been submitted to Nintendo and should be releasing some time this year in Europe and North America, announced 4 Corner Games via Twitter.
Next to this, the company also announced two new playable characters will be joining the Nintendo 3DS eShop game. Armillo and Kubi from the BitBoy!! games will also be running like there is no tomorrow.

The ill-fated release finally gets the attention it needs so badly!
The Nintendo 3DS eShop release of Swords & Soldiers will be getting an update this coming week in Europe, according to CIRCLE Entertainment's Twitter page.
The release, which was slammed pretty heavily by critics, had quite a few issues including a poor frame rate. This will be improved and delivered together with some minor bug fixes and the Super Saucy Sausage Fest DLC.

Dress up your Palico as Mega Man and don some Tetsuya Nomura armor.
Mega Man is coming to Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate in cat form, according to a Capcom panel at New York Comic Con.
You can use Mega Man as a Palico, one of the helper cats in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. He uses a Rush Hammer and also makes the classic Mega Man death sound when he retreats.

Four Pokemon get Mega Evolutions...and what are Mythical Places?

Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley now has a release date for North America.
Natsume's Twitter account announced today that the game will be launched in North America on November 4. A European release is scheduled for 2015.

Suit up in Samus Aran's garb and hunt those monsters.
Two Metroid-themed costumes are coming to Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate when it hits North America and Europe in early 2015.
The pair of costumes are modeled after Samus Aran's Varia Suit and Zero Suit, and they pair well with the Arm Cannon-esque grenade launcher weapon.

A hardcover book showcasing a visual history of Nintendo’s older toys and games.
Before Mario, a new visual book about Nintendo history, is now available for pre-order from Omaké Books.
The Before Mario book focuses on Nintendo history from 1965 through 1983 and will describe, with plenty of visuals showing off the company's older products, how Nintendo evolved from a small toy manufacturer into the famous company we all know and love today.

At long last, Shantae and the Pirate's Curse is coming to 3DS eShop on October 23. The Wii U version will be coming later this winter.

Update: Nope, it just works with Smash Bros.
Update: Nintendo confirmed that the GameCube Controller Adapter will only work with Super Smash Bros. on Wii U. The original story is still below, even if it is just kind of a bummer now.
The upcoming GameCube Controller Adapter will be backwards compatible with all games that support the Wii U Pro Controller and Classic Controller.

Stateside Monster Hunter fans better chug some coffee.
On October 8, Nintendo will be streaming a Nintendo Direct focusing on Monster Hunter 4G, starting in Japan at 8 pm (12 pm in the UK, and 7 am EST in the US). The broadcast will be streaming on both Youtube and NicoNico in anticipation for the game's release on October 11.

Developers of the Bit Boy series, Bplus, recently went to Facebook to announce they are working on two new titles set to debut on the Nintendo eShop before the end of 2014. Further details on the content of these new games aren't yet available, but Bernd Geiblinger of Bplus hinted in his post that Bit Boy's hero Kubi will definitely be making some cameos.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS has sold more than 2.8 million units worldwide.
This number accounts for both digital and physical sales in Japan, the Americas, Europe, and Australia. Nintendo believes that these strong sales numbers are the start of a “strong holiday season” for the company.

Nintendo revealed release dates for both Super Smash Bros. for Wii U as well as Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, both still on track for a 2014 release. Also, more details regarding the Amiibo figures were revealed.
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U has been confirmed for November 21 in North America (December 6 everywhere else) for $59.99. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker will be released on December 5 for a suggested retail price of $39.99.
