MyNintendo, the successor to the Club Nintendo rewards program, was briefly talked about in today's Direct.
It will include both upcoming Nintendo mobile apps as well as future games. By playing and purchasing Nintendo software, you can earn points for future rewards.

Genei Ibunroku no longer.
Three and a half years after its debut, North America will finally get to see what Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem meant.
Known finally as Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, the Nintendo/Atlus collaboration will release on June 24. The game features a crossover of RPGs and pop music, and will feature Japanese original voice with English subtitles.

This update holds the keys to the castle.
Keys with locked doors, skewers from Super Mario World, and Super Expert difficulty will release on March 9 in Super Mario Maker, shown off during today's Direct.
Keys can be hidden in the stage or in an enemy, creating mandatory boss battles, or be locked behind a handful of pink "key coins."

The previously leaked game has a lot of color.
The new Paper Mario title will have a lot of color in it.
Paper Mario Color Splash has been confirmed for a 2016 release, and will take place on Prism Island - an island drained of its color. Paper Mario will wield a Color Hammer to bring the color back and also revive Toads and other objects.

You're not only getting one new Star Fox game, you're getting two!
More information on Star Fox Zero, including information on another new Starfox game, was announced on today's Nintendo Direct.
Teleporters appear in the game that have a big impact on the branching map. Fortune that features brand new enemies. Corneria was also shown, showcasing the alternate paths some stages have. Once you beat Venom in normal mode, more branches and paths open up in other stages.

One of the lost Projects lives on.
Project Guard lives, and will be coming with Star Fox Zero.
Star Fox Guard will reelease on April 22, and will be included with the retail package or sold as a separate download on the eShop. You will play as Slippy's uncle Grippy who designs a security system to save a mining site from attack.

Covering Wii U and 3DS games for spring and summer.
The next Nintendo Direct has a quick turnaround from the Pokémon show.
The show will run tomorrow at 5pm Eastern, 2pm Pacific and 2300 CET. According to the announcement, "games releasing through the summer" will be discussed.
The Direct will air at 7am in Japan on March 4. As well, the Japanese announcement has confirmed there will not be NX or mobile news.

The biggest game with a V Atlus *might* release in North America this year.
After being teased for weeks, it's now official: Etrian Odyssey V is a 3DS title and will release in Japan on August 5.
A full spread will appear in the next issue of Famitsu magazine, but the game will have ten different character classes among four races, including a "hound user" class. The character creation allows for a mix of any class, gender and race (human, elf, dwarf, beastkin).

March 11, Pikmin 3 goes down in price by about 80%.
Nintendo has issued a statement confirming a previously revealed expansion to the Nintendo Selects line.
The new Selects, which include the first Wii U additions to the program, will release om March 11 at a MSRP of US$19.99/C$29.99. Previous precedent has had digital prices lowering to match as applicable.

And some new functionality for the Virtual Console titles
The trademarks yesterday were legitimate: Pokémon Sun and Moon will hit the 3DS this year.
The newest Pokémon titles were announced for a holiday 2016 release worldwide, and have added simplified and traditional Chinese to the existing language options for the game.
Pokémon Sun and Moon will also support the receipt of Pokémon caught in the Virtual Console releases of Red, Blue and Yellow versions through Pokémon Bank.

If true, look for "Pokémon Stars" in 2019 or so
A recently launched website named "NerdLeaks" has unearthed what appear to be European trademark filings for future Pokémon games ahead of tomorrow's Pokémon Direct.
The filings appear to show a Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon, with the status of the trademark given as "Application under examination" and a filing date of 25 February 2016. A logo is given in both applications.

Both versions doubled up Awakening's opening weekend.
After a single weekend of sales, a shocking number of people have chosen their fate.
Nintendo issued a press release this morning announcing that Fire Emblem Fates has sold more then 300,000 copies in its opening weekend, more than five times the previous record holder Fire Emblem Awakening. The Birthright version was the better selling of the two titles, though Conquest was noted to be "close behind".

Just in time for a prominent anniversary
The next Direct video will be airing Friday and dedicated to a 20th anniversary.
Nintendo has announced a Pokémon Direct will air Friday, February 26 at 7 a.m. Pacific, 10 a.m. Eastern, 3 p.m. GMT and midnight JST on the 27th. It will last for five minutes.
The PR announcement confirms we will "find out the latest about Pokémon games". Previous Pokémon Directs were in 2013, and announced Pokémon XY and Pokémon Bank.

Capcom cops to an inadvertent doubled price on the Blue Bomber's early hits.
UPDATE 8:28pm Eastern The eShop update appears to have gone through as of roughly 8pm Eastern. The price is confirmed at $14.99 US and $18.99 Canadian. Original story follows.
Capcom has advised users not to download the Mega Man Legacy Collection on 3DS as the eShop version is showing a price error.

Europe may be getting a repreive from the RPG swarm, but it will be a brief respite.
The Level 5 production will launch in Europe on 29 April, about six months after the Australian/North American launches. The localization will be kept largely the same, such as the main town being known as Springdale.
