Level-5's CEO calmes the nerves of the fans at France's Japan Expo.
Level-5's President and CEO Akihiro Hino told fans to wait for further announcements on a western release of Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney.
This was said at this weekend's Japan Expo in France, where Hino is a guest of Nintendo.
When the company president was asked about the game, he said the following: ''Something's in the works, but I can't talk today it today.''

Miyamoto's desire to create a Link to the Past remake was almost a reality.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds was originally meant to be a 3D remake of the Super Nintendo classic A Link to the Past.
Eiji Aonuma told Wired in a recent interview that he "didn't want to make a remake," after being given the task to create a 3D remake of A Link to the Past by Miyamoto, but he wasn't sure how to "incorporate this world into [his] new project."

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD almost faced internal pushback because it was believed internally that people did not like "that Link."
Eiji Aonuma stated in a recent interview that when he began trying to move forward with Wind Waker HD, there was "a lot of pushback," because it was believed that fans of the series didn't like the young, cel-shaded version of Link. After speaking with U.S. counterparts, that idea was put to rest.

Denpa Men 3 details are revealed, and the first two games are now half off!

The appeal Nintendo of America filed with WIPO, the World Intellectual Property Organization, over the domain name wiiu.com has been denied.

If gamers buy the Wii U, EA will make games for it.
It isn't impossible to run the Frostbite 3 engine on the Wii U after all, according to EA's Patrick Söderlund.
This is after previous news that it wasn't possible to run DICE's engine on the system. In an interview with Patrick Söderlund on 4Gamer, he revealed this information but said that their focus is on PS4 and Xbox One, and that games would be made for the Wii U when there is a larger install base.

G.Rev's shmup is coming to Europe very soon.
The Nintendo 3DS eShop title Kokuga will be launching on the European store on July 11.
The game launched last week in the U.S. eShop. G.Rev was, unfortunately, told recently that the game was not yet able to release in Canada.
Kokuga is an old-school top down shooter from the developer G.Rev. The title is directed by Hiroshi Luchi who worked on the classic games Radiant Silvergun and Ikaruga. Check out our review here!

We're waiting on confirmation by Nintendo of Europe.
According to a newsletter posted on Twitter, Mario Kart 8 may be releasing in April 2014.
Twitter user DeSero claims that the picture in his post is from a newsletter sent out by Nintendo of Europe. Currently Nintendo has yet to confirm or deny the claim.
Mario Kart 7 released in December 2011 and its predecessor, Mario Kart Wii, released in April 2008.

Soul Saga: Episode 1, an RPG on Kickstarter that claims to be inspired by classic Playstation JRPGs, will be coming to Wii U next year if its stretch goal of $105,000 is met.
Developed by Disastercake, Soul Saga cites games such as Final Fantasy, Breath of Fire and Persona as its influences and features a "battle initiation system similar to Chrono Trigger," turn-based battles, and, of course, a protagonist with a huge sword.

Nintendo has seemingly reversed its stance on claiming copyright and ad revenue on YouTube videos that contain footage of their games.
ZackScottGames, a "Let's Player" who was the first person to bring Nintendo's controversial decision to light, has said that the claims on his videos have disappeared, and he is able to receive ad revenue.
