Hudson Soft's classic will hits the 3DS VC next week.
Adventure Island II will arrive on the 3DS Virtual Console in Japan on July 13 for 400 yen.
Adventure Island II is a side-scrolling game that puts players in the role of Takahashi Mejin (Master Higgins in the English language versions) as he navigates his prehistoric world in an attempt to save his girlfriend from invading aliens. Skateboards, dinosaurs and axes aid Master Higgins on his valiant quest.

Reggie Fils-Aime talks about the Wii U's online service.
Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime acknowledged Nintendo's online shortcomings and need to do better with Wii U in an interview with Forbes.
Fils-Aime also gave some rather uncertain details regarding their plans for the service. Telling Forbes that “what we’re doing is creating a much more flexible system that will allow the best approaches by independent publishers to come to bear.”

That's right. One of the six 3D Classics is Urban Champion and not something good.
Urban Champion is coming out as a 3D Classic in Japan on July 13 for 600 yen.
The simple one-on-one fighting game originally came out on the Famicom in 1984, and the NES in 1986.
It is the third 3D Classic to come out in Japan after Excitebike and Xevious. So far, six 3D Classics have been made. Only Excitebike has come out in North America and Europe.

Rayman's first adventure game in years is coming to Nintendo's 3D handheld.
Ubisoft's Rayman Origins is coming to the 3DS, confirms the latest issue of Nintendo Power.
Details regarding the 3DS version remain scarce according to Nintendo Power, but Ubisoft promises that it features the same content as the home console versions.

Team Meat don't even have dev kits yet.
The designers of Super Meat Boy have ditched plans to port the acclaimed game to the Nintendo 3DS. The team are approved 3DS developers, but have yet to receive dev kits for the system.
They are now working on a new title, but are unsure if it will work on the 3DS, or even if it would be a good fit for the system.

One Piece's popular DS fighter is translated to English... for Europe only.
One Piece: Gigant Battle for Nintendo DS will not be coming to Australia, despite the recent European launch.
Jason Evans, PR and Promotions Manager of Namco Bandai Partners Australia confirmed to us that DS titles based on anime franchises such as One Piece, Dragonball and Naruto will not be receiving as much attention for Australian release due to concerns of oversaturation of DS titles in the Australian Market.

The yellow, hungry, dot-eating fiend is making his way to the Virtual Console this week.
The Game Boy version of Pac-Man will hit the eShop in Japan on Wednesday and will retail for 300 yen.
With the inclusion this upcoming title from Namco Bandai, the total number of Virtual Console games on the 3DS will be up to 15 in the Land of the Rising Sun. Nintendo 3DS owners in Japan also have access to a handful of downloadable 3DS exclusive titles including the 3D Classic Xevious.

One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP will be coming to Europe this November.
Europe is getting yet another release that likely won’t make
its way to the Americas, One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP for the 3DS. The game

The final of the three anticipated titles will be released in Europe next year.
Pandora's Tower is confirmed for a European release in 2012. This was confirmed today at Japan Expo by French gaming site Livegen.
The three games, Xenoblade Chronicles, The Last Story, and Pandora's Tower were among the playable titles at Nintendo's booth at the Japan Expo, taking place in Paris, France this weekend. A release for Pandora's Tower was hinted by the marketing director of Nintendo France in an interview last month.

Nintendo is bundling a Nintendo DS game with their upcoming set of trading cards.
In the latest version of Pokémon Card Game, a special Nintendo DS game will be included to act as a tutorial.
The tutorial game is called Pokémon Card Game Asobikata DS, which translates to How to Play Pokémon Card Game in English. The game can be played against the CPU, and it also includes a quiz mode and a rule dictionary.

Dates and launch windows confirmed for Wii, DS, 3DS, and eShop.
The upcoming release schedule for Wii, Nintendo 3DS, and DS includes Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D, Star Fox 64 3D, Xenoblade Chronicles, 3D Classics Xevious, Mario's Picross, and Solaroboto among the selections. Most of these games and launch timelines were already announced, but Mario's Picross for Game Boy coming to the Virtual Console was not yet revealed.

In a recent talk with Famitsu, Aonuma confirms that Zelda is not a Princess in Skyward Sword.
Eiji Aonuma, producer of Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, discussed Zelda's role in the story of the game as not being that of a princess:
"She's not a princess this time which is something I'll pretty much have to put forth right now in order to talk about this title.” He then continues by saying that “She’s a childhood friend, but she goes away in the midst of the game and it's Link's job to search for her."
